Just had delicious meal at the tapas restaurant during my formal yearly holiday dinner with my coworkers! The meatballs and sauce are a flavor symphony, and the Brussels sprouts are a knockout. Oh, and the paella? Pure perfection. Each bite was a taste adventure. If you’re a foodie, this place is a gem you don’t want to miss! Oh the olive oil cake is amazing and must order.
I hadn't had tapas in a while and found the menu for this place to be quite intriguing. I ordered the crispy calamari, salmon crudo, spiced beef empanadas, steamed mussels, local greens and herbs, and a half parillada barcelona. When I finally opened my packages after the long drive, I was surprised with the amount of food and how pretty the dishes looked for carryout! Normally, most places don't put the time and effort in, but they were quite attentive, and I appreciated that! The calamari was light and crispy, and the dipping sauce it came with was excellent. The salmon crudo and empanadas weren't bad, but I've had better. The salad was great and the parillada barcelona was excellent! The meat was cooked to my liking, and the chimichurri sauce paired with the dish was jam-packed with flavor! I could eat that by itself with any meat any day. The staff is super attentive, and the restaurant inside is nice, setting the ambiance for your meal. All in all, a very good meal and will come back next time for the full sit down experience.
nice tapas, great for sharing, and good atmosphere 🍷 Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The complementary bread is delicious and warm; it also tastes great with any of the tapas dishes that have sauce. For tapas, we ordered the patatas bravas, spiced beef empanadas, scallops, crispy calamari, and mushrooms. All these were really good and are highly recommended 👍🏻 For the large plates, we recommend the chicken pimientos. The sauce was excellent and chicken was tender. The paella is not as recommended. Drinks: the guns&roses Sangria is very tasty. It’s sweet and not too strong. The portion is big and worth the price! Atmosphere : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Indoors tends to be very loud. The outdoor seatings are very nice and there are heaters they turn on around every table if it’s cold.
We had a great time on a Saturday evening at this happening restaurant. It was packed, and we got a table after 45 minutes of wait. Since the restaurant were running behind time due to the rains. Anyways, we got the outdoor seating. Luckily, the heaters were on. We ordered Patatas bravas, spinach chickpea cazuela, salad, mushrooms, paella verduras, and lime mocktail with bay leaf. Food was delicious. Fav was the spinach chickpea cazuela, mushrooms, and paella verduras. The fresh bread that they served in the beginning was tasty as well.. they served it with olive oil and a side of hummus. We ended the meal with cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. The chocolate cake was sinful 😍 Would definitely come back, but not on a weekend as it's totally packed.
Perfect date night spot! Very nice vibes food was really good the “Patatas Bravas” & the “Spiced Beef Empanadas” were delicious 10/10. We had the Sangrias very good! Service was fantastic from hostess to server! Will absolutely come back !
Went to Barcelona for lunch off the Beltline. The outdoor patio seemed nice surrounded by fresh potted plants but we wanted air conditioning so we ventured inside to a high top table after being seated. It did take a while to be acknowledged but in her defense she was on the phone.. no servers smiled or greeted us while we waited. That's where they lost a point. Ordered a pitcher of sangria (delicious tho $30 for all that ice was annoying), enjoyed some delicious bread with olive oil and placed our tapas orders. Jodi was an absolute delight and the manager Paula (who was celebrating her bday) came to check on us and Jesus the second server, doubled up to make sure water glasses stayed full.. this attentive service redeemed the experience entirely. The venue gives a very industrial, moody, and dark vibe.. upbeat staff and music tie in with this Spanish influenced restaurant. The tapas were flavorful and tasty. I did send the beet salad back (tasted frozen and watery with not much of a beet taste) and didn't care for the chorizo and fig plate (bland sausage was overpowered by the syrupy fig solution) but everything else was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the chicken that seemed to have a peri-peri seasoning, moist and cooked to perfection with a hot mustard sauce. To me that and the sheep's cheese stole the show altho we had over $100 in tapas plates. Everything was seasoned well and reasonably priced (except for the pitcher imho) but overall a good experience. We were starving going in and had a food coma exiting so they definitely met expectations in feeding us swiftly and well. The large plates, specifically the paella was what I was after but they had a 45min wait time on large plates and I couldn't bring myself to wait that long so that was disappointing.. idk if I'll be back but I enjoyed the experience overall.
I came here tonight to grab some dinner while reading my book. I’m from out of town and I was dinning alone at the bar. The atmosphere was great. It was a great place to grab a bite, drink, some wine, and enjoy my book. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The food is amazing, some of the best spanish food I’ve had. It was like I was sitting in the gothic district in Barcelona. Their wine selection is amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back when I come to Atlanta again for work.
I was really looking forward to trying this place. For one, it was difficult to find and there is no signage for the restaurant. Myself and my friend spent some time looking for the restaurant. We got there around 3 and was handed the brunch menu which had less options. The waitress we had was ok but seemed so confused about everything. She recommended drinks : white sangria & summer street sling, both awful ! We wind up sending it back after one of the managers noticed we were not enjoying l. Our waitress never asked or followed up. The manager asked us our taste and we created Wine Flights which was good because of the nice Rosè. After asking for the dinner menu because I really wanted to have the Pulpo which was good. I added the eggplant caponata which was not good as it was served as a cold dish, so I would not recommend. My friend had the asparagus which she said was good. We filled up on the bread. I appreciate Courtney checking on us and following up, as our waitress seemed lost and confused the whole time and preoccupied with her other tables.
