Was here for my daughter's wedding and found the trail system refreshing and invigorating. I am not a hiker nor even a walker but this trail called me and I spent hours exploring and getting a great deal of exercise. Great views with excellent yet challenging trails.
As flatlanders from the midwest, this is where we start hiking to help with acclimation when we visit BV.
Lots of moderate trails with lovely views of the peaks. Trails are interconnected so that we can easily shorten or lengthen the hike depending on how we feel.
Locals on the trail have all been good-humored and encouraging in our experience.
Nice trail system from which to enjoy the river or gain a higher vantage over Buena Vista. A good combination of trail options allows for a quick stroll or longer jaunt.
Cool trailhead with access to a scenic bridge many seem to use for photo ops. Access to hiking and biking trails, as well as a public restroom. Also a short walk to dining and shops in Buena Vista.
It was wonderful for quick stop. Picturesque and tons of people walking, jogging, and biking. Dog and kid friendly trails!
During the winter we found hiking between 9-12 was best before the ground defrosts and saturates the trail with water, love it.
Great home and views. There could be more signage on the iffy areas. I got lost and had to boulder on the lower trail.
Stopped by here after breakfast to enjoy the view and river. Loved the facilities on site, the trails and the bridge spanning the river. Definitely will visit again.

There are two parks adjacent to each other. One is very large. The large one has painted rocks with dogs names on it, some shade, a large water bowl and some pup obstacles to play on.

We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were friendly and the rooms were very clean and cozy. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Canât wait for summer to go back!
