Bar Louie - The Avenue at Murfreesboro - Bar & grill in Murfreesboro - 2615 Medical Center Pkwy, USA

My meal was delicious! It was warm and not hot when it arrived, but it was still great. My friends' meals were not good. The almost bottomless beverages were good. We had an inexperienced server, and some of our food items kept getting forgotten. We were often looking for our server to refill drinks or, initially, take the order.

I went to order my food and before I could say anything the waitress immediately asked me for my ID before I told her what I wanted to order. As I am over 50 I said you don't need to see my ID she advised it was state law that she had to look at my ID. This is not true. Tennessee law does not require on-premise purveyors of alcohol to card everyone. In fact, state law does not require that a bar, restaurant, hotel or other liquor-by-the-drink establishment card anyone. When I advised her about this she actually admitted she did not know but was told by her manager she had to card everyone even people who are obviously of age. As I look Over 50 this has become a sore point With Me as this is unnecessary and a invasion of my Privacy. Nobody needs to see an ID which has all our personal information on it when there clearly is no reason for it.

The flatbread pizza had lemon on it. Really small cut up pieces. It was just a really odd taste on a pizza. I would not order it again. Everything else was nice. Good selection and great customer service.

The loaded tater tots were surprisingly good as well was the BBQ bacon burger. The fish and chips were a little heavy on the fries and light on the fish, it was more like one piece of fish chopped in three pieces but the service made up for it and the restaurant was well kept.

Went to bar Louie tonight & Annie was my server! Annie was so helpful, made suggestions, and was such a fun time! I can’t wait to come back & ask for her! She’s the best

I really like this location. The staff here is very friendly. Everyone that helped us had a smile on their face and great conversation. We sat at the bar, but the rest of the restaurant looked nice and open. The food and drinks were so good! We all had trouble figuring out what we wanted. But, we all ended up satisfied. Can't wait to go back.

Kristin at the bar is absolutely fantastic, she had an amazing personality she was very up beat and personal. I love when I go to a bar/restaurant and can talk with the bartender like we’ve been friends for so long, she made it that way. She had a bad end of shift but Is like to think our conversations were superb. I really wish I got her number cuz I feel we could be friends! I will definitely be back!!

If I could give this place 0 stars- I would. Me and my cousins sat at a table for an hour and half with no service at all. We had to go up to the bar to grab our drinks. After awhile I saw the manager walk by and I flagged him down to inform him that we sat for so long without any service. He stated it was because we had cups at the table and that was why. The cups were empty. It wasn’t an excuse because we flagged someone else down earlier and she stated that she couldn’t serve us because she was a food runner. When she went to go ask the group of servers, they turned around looked at us and shook their head no. This place has gone down hill with these new servers.
