Bar fly Safety Harbor - Bar & grill in Safety Harbor - 100 Main St #101, USA

My friend and I really enjoyed our afternoon outside on the patio. It was warm, comfortable, the wine and beer was great, and our server Julien was very attentive t our wants!!! The smash burger was cooked perfectly as ordered with good flavor, the shrimp was spicy and just as we expected. Similar to Bang Bang shrimp at Bonefish grill. The patio was dog friendly, very clean indoors and outdoors with lots of space. A space for live music, but we were there late afternoon, so no music. We definitely want to return with our husbands.

The drinks were good, especially the silver margaritas. Crab legs in the Bar Fly Bait Bucket were fresh at lunch time. Service was friendly despite a very big crowd .We had a nice time and look forward to coming back. Update! Came back a second time for dinner. We were excited to have another nice time, which just happened to be on a slow night. We were taken to our table right away. We waited 20-25 minutes, and we were not even given a glass of water. Asked a busboy if he could get our server. He brought us water and said she would be right out. Ten minutes went by, and we were so frustrated and got up and left out of frustration and went down the street to the left to another restaurant, and had a great dining experience, despite not having a reservation and packed. The service there was impeccable and food delicious. Amazing the different perspectives one can get. I will give bar fly the benefit of the doubt it was a fluke evening.

I can't believe I've lived in the area for so long but just tried it out. The taste, quality, temperature, speed in which it was brought out, and value for what I paid was excellent. Make sure to ask for Phil...he was an excellent server. Great personality, gave some great advice when ordering. I'm definitely coming back.

What a great find this restaurant was! The atmosphere is extremely chill and the servers are very attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic. I had the blue pointe oysters which were huge and the shallot vinaigrette was on point. Also had the sesame seared tuna which was perfectly cooked and the wasabi cucumber sauce was amazing. The wife had the bucket of crab and that was awesome as well. Nestled in the heart of downtown Safety Harbor the location is great. Definitely will be back

Great food and the bar/beer selection is awesome... definitely a place to explore some local brews and to visit downtown safety harbor, it's right across from the marina which is a nice place to walk through

Great seafood bar and grill atmosphere right near the harbor. The Keylime shrimp were awesome!

We had a large party around 25 people on Saturday Feb. 3rd. around 7pm. We came to watch the band- Taylor Fletcher and Fake Blues with special guest Jonathan Rocks on drums along with having dinner. Dina was fantastic- she put tables together outside for our large party- with minimal wait! Montana was our server and she was THE BEST!! She was genuinely friendly and attentive with everyone. Always smiling and checking in. We were seated outside and our party was up and about and Montana remembered everyone, we never had to find her. She is a GEM! Thank you all for a wonderful night! We will be back.

We just had a delicious lunch at Bar Fly and are so glad we finally made it a point to go there. For years we have eaten at several places all around Bar Fly and have always wanted to try it. The hostess seated us immediately and our server Kirtland was so friendly and attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. I had the lobster bisque and shrimp po boy which were both delicious and came with kettle chips and a cole slaw that we both liked. Wife had the smash burger and plantains and, even though I was stuffed, I had to help out a little with the burger and it was very good. Everybody on staff was so courteous and the place was very clean and the seating comfortable . My only complaint is that making food that good led me to eat way too much! Thanks for the great lunch and we can’t wait to go back next time and try some of those cocktails that looked so good on the menu.
