Banyan Tree Motel - Motel in St. Petersburg - 610 4th St N, USA

I had a great experience at this motel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed. The manager was friendly and accommodating, making sure my stay was pleasant. The location was super convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions in Downtown St Pete. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay. I'll definitely be back!

This motel is very old. I remember when it was really bad. I live in St Petersburg. I have to say, this place was the only place that still offered wkly rates at a decent price for 2 people. I thank God for blessing me and my boyfriend, because we had nowhere to go. Yes, the room is not up to date, but I did my own thing once we got in the room. Only thing new was the flat screen tv and the fridge. I feel blessed because we're not on the streets. God is so good and He's always on time.I give all the praise to God, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!!

I am FORCED to give one star to write this review..I see it still looks like a s**t hole after 20 years..and there sign looks like blood dripping from a Banyan Tree..We stayed there 20 years ago and it was a hell hole back then. We were directed there by the customer service rep at a mall close by. She said it was a fine motel. We checked in and the guy behind the counter was about 6'2" OVER 350 lbs wearing a ratty old worn out t-shirt. We could hear police sirens in the distance every few minutes. There were a few ants crawling on the check in desk. When we went to get our luggage, he came out to give us our receipts and both me and my wife(girlfriend then) noticed him checking out our luggage. There were some rough people on the second floor having beers and laughing, when they saw us they briefly stopped and looked at us and then continued on. We went to our room and they advertised HBO...it was the only channel they had!!. I tried to make a phone call and the phone had a dial lock on it. I started to feel like this was a scene out of a horror slash movie and me and wife were going to be the star death attraction...My wife went to use the washroom and there were strands of black hair in the tub. When she was in the washroom and I went over to the cupboard and when I opened it 2 silver dollar sized black coachroaches scurried behind the toaster. I went over to my wife and I calmly said.."were getting the f**k out of here"..we just left and didn't say anything. Why anyone would even give a star is beyond me...I doubt it hasn't changed...prove me wrong...Good Luck on that...

The location is great, yes it is old. But they do have weekly rates of u can ever get in and the suites are just like little apts.

Its very quiet and peaceful, just not fancy. I cleaned up a bit cause im a neat freak and it needed a bit of extra love. Other than that your not gonna find a better place or deal so close to all the excitement of downtown!

Apparently the manager enjoys letting himself into your room when you're away and steals women's bras and panties and other items

Been here five days now, my husband & I. WE like this place. Very convenient in every way. All our needs have been met. No complaints whatsoever... Nita

it's not the Hilton..but nobody bothers u n it's nice and peaceful..the rooms could use remodel but other then that its pretty chill spot!!
