Stopped in to get a dessert to bring to a dinner party and was delighted at how cute the shop was! Small but packed with all types of beautiful looking goodies. Was tempted by the cake pops and the Tahitian lime bars, but finally decided on the lilikoi bars. The sweet shop keeper was extremely patient with me while I was deciding. Lilikoi bars ended up being a big hit, so tangy and delicious! Will be back soon to try other items. They even sell gourmet dog treats!
Wow wow wow! My favorite food find on the Big Island! We had breakfast next door and stumbled upon this gem by chance. I was floored to find out everything is plant-based / vegan! 😍 You wouldn't even be able to tell without asking as only certain things are labeled as plant-based (and anything with a green label is gluten-free). There is a large selection of baked goods, both sweet & savory. We got the Italian sausage, mozzarella, pesto stromboli to go and immediately regretted not getting more after we tried it later in the day. I loved the mango macadamia nut bar. We split a slice of the chocolate chip cookie cake - great. I tried two flavors of the banana breads and absolutely loved them. We also got the vanilla oatmeal cream pie that certainly didn't disappoint. Wish we had more time in the area to visit Bananarama again! So highly recommend a visit, not just for plant-based or gluten-free folks - trust me, you won't regret it!
Amazing. So tasty and friendly. Some of the best vegan cake I have had. Really enjoy the Stromboli's as well. But today I had fresh out of the oven the potato puff pastry. Forget the name. I also starred at that coconut lilikoi cake. Man that was good. Ridiculously I wondered if I could take a whole on on a flight home.
We try the coconut lilikoi cake and the chocolat haupia cheesecake. The cheesecake was good but the coconut lilikoi cake was incredible! They had a lot of other choices that all look tasty. Worth a stop if you never been there and pass nearby.
GLUTEN FREE AND DAIRY FREE TREATS!!!!!
Best Samoa cake and gluten free cake I've ever had. Found this place after a recommendation from a random awesome person machete-ing open a coconut for me. I would fly back to Hawaii just for this cake!! So good!
Also the oatmeal Maple cream pie was out of this world!!
Very nice employee checked us out at the register. I though she was the owner as she was very passionate about the business and the product. We had a banana gf cupcake which was surprisingly good. The mango cheesecake was good as well as the mango bar. Glad to see a great business thriving here in Pahoa. We will be back when we visit the Island next time!
Wowza this place is delicious!!!!! Owners are super amazing and helpful. The Stramboli is vegan and tastes better than a non vegan one. The garlic sauce is like heaven in a little plastic container lol and Their cakes are amazingly rich with perfect frosting and not so cracked out sweetness like most other places. I really love that natural plant based distinctive taste their cakes have. You can also taste the natural local fruit they put in their fruit flavored desserts. After eating these amazing plant based desserts you won’t want to go back to a regular bakery vegan or not.
One of the best bakeries I’ve tried and very glad I found them during my visit. Favorites were the Mango and Lilikoi cheesecakes, Pesto Stromboli, and their cakes. The Lavender Lemonade was also delicious. I went a few times and the counter people were always friendly and helpful. It was also the only store I found in Pahoa which was professional looking and nice, not trashy like a lot of places there. Worth checking out if you visit the Pahoa area.

Great bakery and food stop. It doesn't look like an official eatery, but a local kitchen that has a few tables and chairs. The place was inviting and the bakery goods were delicious. We bought a few breads and had one of them sliced to eat with our b
The highlight of the park.
We parked at Lava Tubes and started straight down into the crater. Our plan was to do a loop by circling back on the canyon rim trail. In retrospect, I should have parked at KÄ«lauea Iki Overlook Parking Lot, because it ha

Melissa is a great host, with a wealth of knowledge.
Beautiful little church with a rich history. There are picnic tables on the side of the church and a singular porta-potty. Thereâs a sink to wash hands but may or may not have soap. The plants and flowers are so beautiful around the church as well
Nice family run business with island flavored ice creams. My favorite is the Coconut Haupia. They also offer banana splits, shakes, coffee, root beer floats, and shave ice. I always grab some ice cream when waiting for my dinner/lunch at the surround
