Banana River Resort - Lodge in Cocoa Beach - 3590 S Atlantic Ave, USA

This is a beautiful resort to stay in for a couple, family, or friends getaway. I had an issue with our garbage disposal and it was fixed by the next morning. The check in receptionist and email responses are very timely and nice. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

The quieter end of town, right beside the base. River views are stunning, free kayaks and paddle boards a real bonus. Family friendly, couples, relaxed brach vibes and the Ocean beach is only across the street. Room was spacious, nice shower, kitchen with what you need far a quick meal or drinks and snacks. I'll gladly come back here. (Solo female traveller, felt safe and relaxed)

I think perhaps it depends on your expectations. We seemed to have several issues with Suite 3 but maybe it was just a bad week and for the price we were expecting a turnkey relaxing vacation. A few small things to consider- do not expect world class paddle boards, there is one SUP paddle that functions and two old paddle boards- kayaks seemed ok. The walk to the beach does require crossing a busy road, but once there it IS a nice beach, but you must bring all your own gear, including beach towels. There are not any beach rental chairs, etc. nearby. The wifi did not seem to work for us, the fan in the spare bedroom had a short apparently so my first night trying to sleep, it got up to 78 degrees in the room as we could not adjust the temp on the thermostat, the couch is not comfortable, the streaming buffered, so it took a couple hours to get that to work, there is a neighboring house with a large dog barking and although they warn you, I find it strange for the nightly price ($336/night!) to offer a small soap and shampoo. There is a washer, no dryer. The blankets were thin, beds were decent and the place was clean. There are no screens on any of the windows so you can't really get fresh air and there was a wasp nest above our bathroom window so definitely didn't want to leave a window ajar while showering. There is a "no refund" policy, so you are stuck there as we had wanted to check out after our first of two nights. |There are not any walkable restaurants nearby. We were offered a couple of free nights to make up for all the mishaps we had. All in all, there were nice chairs and solitude by their water's edge. I could see a family enjoying the grounds and playing the outdoor games they had, but for us it was a letdown for the price. I think some people would be perfectly happy here but we had a lot of stress upon check-in and so many things not working properly.

Amazing views, beautiful place. Loved sitting out enjoying the sunset under the palm trees. Activities for the whole family. Can't wait to come back with our kids.

Very noce spot for families. Kayaks and padle board are included and you can see plenty of animals in the river. Very close to the ocean too. Great place. I'll definitely go again.

We got married at this resort last week and absolutely loved it. Guests said it was the prettiest wedding they ever attended. The family stayed at the resort for a few nights leading up to the wedding and loved it. There is enough space for kids to run around and play, the rooms are all beautifully decorated, and the management was accommodating to all our needs.

My daughter and I took a quick trip down to Cocoa Beach from Atlanta for some well needed water time. I ran across Banana River Resort when searching for a hotel and loved the fact that they had all the equipment we needed for surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking, and were sandwiched between the river and the beach. We expected an old Florida, no frills motel. What we got was a modern, well designed boutique hotel experience with top notch service. I have not stopped talking about this place to anyone who will listen. We caught them on the first week of the reopening so everything was brand new and clean. Each unique themed suite has a full kitchen, comfortable bed and plenty of functional space. The grounds include several common areas with beautiful views, an outdoor fireplace and fun bean bag seating. I travel ALOT for business and pleasure and this is by far my new favorite get-a-way. Thanks to Kristen and Emily for making us feel like family.

My husband and I spent last weekend in the River Boat Villa and we had an amazing time. The Villa is exactly as advertised, and the location was incredible with breath taking sunsets. We brought our own bikes and kayaks, but they have kayaks, surfboards and paddle boards available. The location is amazing. You have the lake as your backdrop and across the street is the beach. I will not only recommend this location to all my friends and coworkers but I will be back. Cocoa Beach has the some of the best kitesurfing and Banana River Resort is by far one of the best places we have stayed and we have traveled around the world. Also, the host were available at all times and Logan, our onsite contact was extremely helpful with everything including food recommendations.
