It depends what you order. I love the Sushi and some of the main dishes, but I'm not a fan of the Teriyaki Chicken at all. They make Teriyaki Chicken way better at the Japanese restaurants in Sunnyside and at Queens Center Mall. Hope they can make changes to that. Other than that, the service is great. The pineapple Chicken was delicious, and I would order it again.
I recently dined at Sushi Ya and was extremely disappointed to find hair in my sushi rolls. The hygiene standards were clearly lacking, and it ruined the entire dining experience for me. I won't be returning. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THEY TOLD ME THAT IS OKAY AND SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS.
Customer service was amazing. They kept refilling my tea which I really appreciated since I've been to restaurants that don't even come by unless I call them over! Had a quick Saturday lunch and got a sushi boat for two. Absolutely loved the presentation, sashimi was fresh, and seating was unique. The nigiris and rolls were just okay. When you go in, there are a few booths that are Japanese style where you take your shoes off.

We ordered a beef short ribs and chicken teriyaki box, chicken teriyaki was good. But beef short ribs was not good, not a lot of flavor and it was very soupy.
This place the was good ,I oder two margarita drink's, but I felt like I was giving fruit juice, the waiter was nice enough to make a bit stronger adding some alcohol 😜. What I didn't like was that the waiter seem to be bother because it was almost time close, his body language looked like was doing things with anger 🤬 like rushing us .
We ordered Rock Shrimp, Golden Dragon, Poke bowl, and Bird Nest. Also ordered togo Shrimp tempura rolls. Great food and decent price.
I have been to this place multiple times. I really love the fried rice and twin lobster teriyaki. The staff are friendly and they really serve delicious and tasty food

Out of all the teriyaki/sushi places in Jamaica, this is the best. Hands down. I always find myself going back. They recently started selling the bento box and you get so much food for what you pay for. The best sushi I would say is the PP Boy Roll.
