Bamboo House - Asian restaurant in Bonham - 413 N Main St, USA

Our server for today was amazing. We informed the manager about our egg rolls being over cooked and having a weird chemical like taste. The manager then arranged and said there was nothing wrong with them. The she said I am going above and beyond for you and taking this off your bill which I never do this. We told the manager to leave it on our bill. We where just trying to informed them about the chemical tasting food. This manager should not be in the roll she is in. Because clearly she has no idea of what customer service is..

We are so glad we stumbled upon the Bamboo house! Great service and food was amazing! I had veggie pho with tofu and my husband had the combination pad Thai. The portions are really big too.

Love this place. The food and people are great. We love getting Megan as our waitress. She is really sharp and keeps up with all our extra requests. Jen the manager is a lovely lady and so welcoming.

This place used to be soooo good. I used to love it. Sad to see it go downhill. My food was not good and the prices were much higher than I remember. We had a soup, an entree and a soda and the bill for 3 people was $75 dollars. Bummer.

Me an my partner ate at this restaurant (not for the first time) but it will be the last. Service and the food were awful. I thought there may be a staffing issue as there was one waitress running around the whole restaurant. However, we waited FOREVER to be approached at the table. While the waitress chatted with other customers, unprofessional when your other table hasn’t been addressed yet. Finally got our drinks but you can forget a refill. Was told she would be right back with one and never saw her, had to ask another lady working there for one. By the time I received my food we had been there over an hour an the noodles were burnt. To the point you could smell it, and tasted awful. But again after receiving the food we never saw anyone again. At this point we were just ready to leave after not even touching the food, had to ask someone to please get our waitress. She said she would asked to have the noodles taken off, which they were not. Wasn’t given the opportunity to speak with a manager, but from other reviews it seems as if nothing is taken off anyway. No care for the customer at this establishment.

I went there months ago for lunch with my husband and the food was good but the waiter was definitely an issue. He was super friendly and nice, no problems with that but he took forever to even take our orders. He stood around chatting to other staff and customers, forgot most of our food. I'm pretty sure he forgot to even put in our order because we sat there for 40 mins without even being served our appetizers. Most customers that came in way after us, that were served by other waiters, go their food, finished and left before we were even served our starters. It's great to have friendly staff but the point of working at a restaurant is not to socialize, it is to wait on customers. I love Asian food and I was so excited when we found this place but I will never go back and sit for over 40 minutes waiting for my food in an unpacked restaurant.

Excellent Pho! Fresh, flavorful, and large portions. Excellent service ( plenty of servers) and very well-priced. A pleasant surprise for a small town. Bravo Bamboo

It's pushing it for 2 stars...I stopped in at 2:15 to place togo order...they close at 3. I stood at the front register for 10 min.. 2 waitresses stood at order computer & worked hard to ignore me. They then went into the back & got boxes & started refilling paper products. Then went to the back & could be seen through the window standing there talking with one another. One finally came to the front & decided it would be ok to place a sushi to go order. Yea..they r off my list..run to greenville..they have better options. & the wait staff is more accommadating.
