Cons: Where do I start? I reserved a king room and they put me in a double. This hotel has never been updated. Everything is old and gross. I wore my shoes the entire time in the hotel room. The bathroom was extra small, toilet leaned back and was miniature (I’m average height), floor was greasy and slippery in the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable. No drapes on the windows, only blinds, so we were accosted all night by the bright parking lot lights. I’m hugely disappointed by the brand “Bally” and.expected way better. I’ll never come back. I’m from Florida and was passing through.
The staff is great. They are making the most out of a bad situation. The physical plant is screaming for renovation especially the lobby area. It has a breakfast area but there is no breakfast and that is the feeling throughout, it is a shell of a once nice place. Rooms are not made up daily but with one soap and 2 towels we had to hunt down the maid for supplies. The actual room is at least average, sort of. We had to request a coffee pot since it was missing. Stay somewhere nicer.
Rooms are in need of some work . It's an older hotel. I appreciate the pleasant attitudes from the front desk staff. It's 2 floors with no elevator. Be prepared to walk up the stairs with your bags/luggage. The parking lot is outside of your bedroom window and it is very noisy.
My name is Yolanda Myles and I have been patronizing at Ballys Casino(Lady Luck) for many years. I was a pre-finalist in this drawing but was not entered as finalist because I was told by employee that I didn’t check in. I was very much present at the drawing and they never announced for pre-finalist to sign in. I have been at many drawings with Bally’s and they always announced to sign in. This flyer was sent to all Bally’s guest and it states, all pre-finalists will be put in the drum. Here is the flyer below. I spoke with Darius(GM) about how distraught I was to not be entered due to not sign in but they never announced to check in as they usually do. Where is the consistency and accountability? He stated he will have Jennifer to call me about this for an update. I received a call from Mickey, not Jennifer, about this situation. Mickey was present and oversaw the drawing and going to hit me with this technicality, “when you signed your paperwork as one of the finalists, it’s stated on the paperwork you must check in by 9:00 the night of the drawing.” Really, but when you sign the paperwork all you are told that the paperwork is to verify you as a finalist. The flyer states differently and they normally call all pre-finalists to sign in if needed. This flyer says otherwise. I am so disappointed and I’m aware of my gaming choices in Vicksburg. Ballys also had a VIP drawing the same day from 2-4 on 8/3/24, that I was not notified of and I am a VIP. Extremely disappointed!!!
I had a bad experience with management staff on March 31st. One of the shift managers told me to leave the building and that Ballys don't need my money because I was defending this older lady because he came and made this lady get up and give one of her machines that she was playing with good money in both to another lady which was (white). The management staff said that she couldn't play 2 machine and I asked him where on the machine it states that because people plays 2 or 3 machine all the time. He said he will have to put one up. I didn't think it was right for them to make the old lady get up to give her machine to someone else. So, management put me out. I contacted his manager and he said in the regulations it states you can't play 2 progressive machine but who reads them coming to a casino if it's not displayed. I told him that the staff member was wrong to watch the camera. He call me today and said he watched the video and I was the aggressor towards the staff. I said really, I am 5 feet tall. I was still playing my machine talking to him with the security guards standing there. I was telling him exactly what took place. I asked him for his boss name and number and he said he is refusing to give me any info to contact anyone over him because he us the head person at Ballys in Vicksburg. If the staff is going to act like that towards people that comes in there to spend their hard earned money we don't need to go in Ballys. Let's go somewhere else that's going to treat people better. I told me family and friends to tell other about the situation and how I was treated along with the older lady. I didn't know either of the ladies but right is right like I told each if the staff managers.

I had a special feature on one of their machines. And it locked up on me, so I couldn't use any of the buttons or collect my winnings. It took over an hour for some help to arrive after flagging down the cameras, flagging down the cocktail waitresses who just turned away from me, I finally got the attention of a nice cleaning lady who radioed for some help. I tried to play a little bit after that but that episode straight cool me off
My wife and I are frequent visitors of casinos. This one is by far the worst of 60 or so we have visited. Rude customer service, No coffee in the hotel because covid killed the self serve machine.. they put a sign on it a couple years ago and never removed it. In thr casino, we ordered a drink when we finally found a server (about 30 minutes after sitting at a machine.) We wanted another one about 10 minutes later and we were rudely told we had to wait 20 minutes before getting another as she walked right by. We brought it up with management- he could not have cared less! We will never go to Ballys again. Awful.
