Ballinger Inn - Motel in Ballinger - 2101 Hutchings Ave, USA

Great hotel for the price. Best of the 3 options in town. Of the other 2 options, one is way overpriced and the other looks like a trap house. But Ballinger Inn is the perfect middle of the road. Not a 5 star hotel, but the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, AWESOME pillows, and newly renovated bathrooms. And I don't mean they painted over an old plastic tub. New tubs, new tile, new toilets, new fixtures. They did a good job. I will be staying here again when I'm in Ballinger.

Came through for a funeral and needed somewhere to stay one night. Everything was very clean, bathrooms seem recently renovated. All appliances, A/C, and hot water were all functional. Very comfortable stay, and the lady in the office was relaxed about our check out time which was nice.

Well I was wondering about this place. But when I checked in and seen my room I was very pleased. It was clean. The shower was slow starting but was nice. Brand new led tv's. They even hung them high on the wall so you can see them when you in bed. And let's talk about the bed. I guess all the rooms have sleep number beds. Sweet deal. I slept very good. My number was 65 The air was ice cold too. I had a great nights sleep. So if you need a place for the night give it a try!

The beds are sleep number beds and are great. The vanity areas in the 2 rooms we stayed in were nice as they had been redecorated with new formica, sinks and faucets. The paint on most of the walls was OK. The carpet was OK, too.||Now we come to the bathrooms. These were pretty much a disaster. Mold in the grout; one of the tubs had so much iron rust from the water it looked dirty. One of the faucets only had the shower option, not that I would have sat in the tub... One of the faucets was "cranky" and would only turn on the shower half way. One of the rooms had more mold in the bath than the other. We first stayed in Rm 115, then asked to change rooms the next day and we were moved to room 112. There is cable or satellite TV, but the pictures in both rooms were "snow-flakey". Not so that you couldn't see to watch TV, but just not clear. I have to say, the free WiFi was the only thing that was great. It seemed to be fast and was reliable ! All in all, I will not stay there again unless they perform a complete remodel of the bathrooms... tubs, faucets, tile, and floors. I did not see mice or roaches, so it was not completely a dump ! The managers were completely nice and accommodating and friendly, too.

For 75.00 a night, you'd think they would have made repairs or at least the room be clean. It wasn't in the best of conditions when I use to work there in 2009, but the rooms were clean including the TV remote. Cob webs in corners now; walls and doors nasty. Food still on the counter and in the microwave. Towels are dingy and crunchy and the remote was gummy with filth. The pillows were comfy though.

The couple that own and run this little hotel are the nicest people you will come across. They went out of their way to move their own vehicle and make sure we had a place to park and plug in our boat overnight. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great stay and great people.

Has a comfortable bed (our sleep number didn't work but it didn't matter to us) a nice bathroom, TV has plenty of channels along with a fridge and microwave. |Room is clean and it's close to Walmart, tractor supply and a couple fast food places. |The owners are very friendly and helpful with accommodations (like when your debit card won't work and it's 830 pm, with no cash on hand).|We've stayed here twice now and will continue to stay when we have reason to be in the area

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. Wouldn’t accept my service dog which is against federal law but of course the foreigner doesn’t understand that. Not the nicest people. Ended up calling and reporting it for not allowing service dogs.
