What a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal! Everything was delicious and the portions were well worth the price. We had the Doner kebab and the Chevapi ( Bosnian sausage) Cevapi. Both dishes were delicious and authentic. We both recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. Overall-A+++
We tried Balkan House for the first time today. The obvious choice for a first-timer is the Döner Kabob. I went with beer and lamb, señora went with chicken they were quite large and full of meat. The meats were really tasty. The bread was some kind of fusion between a white bread roll and a pita pocket. Very tasty but unexpected. For all I know that is what is authentic in Germany. Fries were crisp and hot as we dined in and it was not busy. Service is fast casual and the person working the counter was very helpful. All in all we liked it all with the bread thing being ok. We will definitely return to try some items.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Breads are made in house and the menu is unique but delicious. The owner is wonderful and helped us make our menu selections as well as sharing her inspiring history of moving to the US and running her restaurants. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. We greatly enjoyed our meals and are looking forward to returning again soon.

Grabbed food for the family and got more items and kabobs. Excellent! Better than last time, IMHO. The kabobs were amazing, the crepes are yum, but the baklava is the best that any of us has ever had and we're pretty picky about our baklava! Just a great real European meal locally made.
Excellent Döner Kebab, OK fries. First visit, called my order in and they brought it out curbside, so I can't comment on the actual place, but the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. The Kebab was excellent, hearty, tasty bread, generous amount of lamb, great tasting sauce and fillings, just an excellent food. The fries sadly were undercooked, not severely, just could've used some extra time, but a minor complaint really.
Delicious. We tried the beef/lamb & chicken Doner with the seasoned fries. I really enjoyed my experience. Highly recommend!
Ordered carry out for lunch at the balkan house. I tried my first Doner kebab and it was very tasty. Now when you look at the menu don’t be alarmed by the $14 price tag for the sandwich. Once you get it you
will indeed get your $15 worth of sandwich. It's a really hefty sandwich filled with meat and fresh veggies. I could not eat all of it for lunch. The lamb was flavorful, rich and buttery. I advise you to
get extra sauce to help cut some of the richness of the lamb. You can also get chicken instead for a small upcharge and if you don’t want
meat you can get the falafel doner. In all it was a great lunch and I will repeat again.
I used to really like this place. The Döner used to be spot on, like being back in Germany. Prices were fine, more than you would pay in Europe, but it is a specialty around here afterall.
I don't know what happened, but today we got two Döner with fries and a drink and paid over $40. The sandwich was not good at all, barely anything but bread, put together sloppy, the sauce completely different from what it used to be and generally just not tasty anymore. Very disappointing change with a massive price increase.
I had a good experience. Unfortunately I come from the Land of Döner, where it is a cheap snack and even cheaper than McDonald's and Burger King. So I found 12 Dollar for a simple Döner Kebab a bit too much.
What do I get for 12 bucks? A simple Döner, which is quite authentic. The fresh cucumber made tasting a bit Greek but the seasoning of the meat was very authentic. The preparation of the Döner was not that authentic. Usually in Germany Döner is prepared in Subway style and you see the rotating meat. Here the meet was just grilled in the back kitchen. But this is fine to me, as long as the taste is good.
The woman who was working was super nice and attentive, filled up my Pepsi and stuff.
Overall 4/5. I recommend the Döner, I do not agree with the price but then again I understand today's economic situation.
