the motels in all right place if the owners will change management then it would be an all I live there for almost 2 years and let me tell you at the end of my stay management went in and took my big valuables I will never ever recommend anybody staying there ever again they use drugs and they don't care to help

STAY AWAY!! Shady area, shady place, not worth the cheaper price unless you want to get exposed to mold and potentially burn to death in your sleep. Our room was missing ANY SMOKE DETECTORS, had shattered tile with nasty gunk buildup behind, black mold in the bathroom, cigarette burns everywhere, staff yelling incoherently across the parking lot when trying to get help at the front office. Once we found the mold in the bathroom and the missing smoke detectors, we left and will be trying to get our money back. Actually inhospitable. Should be closed down for major safety and health violations.

The room was actually pretty big in size and very clean. Cable was awesome to have for night time watching, the room had air conditioning which worked great and kept me nice and cool when the temp outside was in the high 90s. The location of the motel wasn't the best, but for where it's at, the motel itself is great. The staff and owners were very polite and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby the whole night through. Even with where the motel was located at, it was still very quiet during my entire stay. I highly recommend staying at this motel!

For 85.00 I would have expected the heat and hot water to work. It was beyond unsanitary and far from a peaceful night sleep for anyone who plans to go to work the next morning. Twenty dollar deposit would be nice if I could get an employee to check my room either time I attempted to get it. I tried at 5 am and I returned at 9 am

I spent 1 night there during the first week of May. My room was clean and the bed comfortable however the shower head came off in the shower with any water pressure.I could tell that the room had some renovation performed, carpet and paint, but more needed to be accomplished, windows, shower and front door. The room also had a microwave and refer. Unlike several of the other reviews, I found the the manager friendly and receptive when I explained my concerns.||I wouldn't rate the property as poor, however I probably would try somewhere else should I visit Yakima again.

Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Sink has cigarette stains on it. Very grubby and run down. Occasional yelling from people walking around outside. Bed was comfortable enough. Didn't use the shower just wanted to get out as soon as possible and I would not have smelled fresh anyway. My hair and clothes would still smell of stale cigarette smoke.

We were pleased to find a room when we drove in to Yakima around 8 pm on a Thursday night in early August. The motel was well lit, colourful and inviting. The manager was fixing something in the back but soon appeared in the front office. He was very friendly and let me know he had a room for us. After clearing a space on the couch at front desk for me to sit, he went to find his wife to make sure the room was "ready". About 5 minutes later he informed me that the room was ready. I can only say that the lesson I took from this experience is to ask to see the room first if I am feeling misgivings (which at this point, I was). The motel appears to be the kind that rents out long term to locals. I am generally not overly fussy and have stayed in countless motels in my travels. There is usually a standard of cleanliness and evidence of maids. In this motel, for the first time in my life, I could not fathom sitting on that bed as it was. We placed our own camping sheets on top of the sheets of this bed, after removing its limp and filthy looking covers. I am 100% positive the bedding hadn't been changed for some time. After our few days of camping we were looking forward to watching a bit of TV. The manager had handed me a remote control when we checked in. It went with the mammoth 1980s style TV in our room. Eager as we were to watch some TV, the remote's grime-encrusted buttons sent me searching through our camping gear again for the saran wrap - no lie! My wife and I joked about the crimes that had probably happened in this motel and what a blue light would show up - she didn't tell me until we'd left that there was blood congealed on the bathroom wall. I think I was trying too hard not to touch the shower curtain or anything else to notice the stains on the walls. We didn't place anything on the floor. I had Lysol wipes which I used on any hard surfaces and it was on these wiped off areas that we placed our belongings. I lost a pair of glasses in the motel room but left them rather than look behind the fridge where we recalled hearing a dull thud in our hasty departure the next morning. When we arrived home - wife, me and our two small dogs - we stripped on the back porch and walked straight into our bathroom to have a prolonged hot shower. Our clothing and sheets and anything else that touched that motel room were left on the back porch until the washing machine was full of hot water and bleach.
