Baladina mediterranean restaurant & cafe - Mediterranean restaurant in Toms River - 931 Fischer Blvd, USA

I love going here! Everything from their appetizers, lunches, dinners, and desserts is on point. The chefs really put their all into their food. They will literally run out of the kitchen to make sure that you get your food, fast and hot! They use fresh ingredients, and you can taste the difference in their food. If you like Mediterranean food, and even if you don’t, you should definitely give this place a try. The atmosphere matches with the Mediterranean theme. One of my favorite places to go near the shore!

My 1st time here, it was a rainy night and the place was empty but quickly filled. I was so impressed at the speed of service, quality of food and how generous they were with the portions! It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back and enjoy a new dish! You must try this restaurant, it will not disappoint. Also, I'm vegan and they had MANY delicious plant based options. My friend had the lamb and enjoyed it.

Really delicious restraunt. We were looking for something different for once and found this gem right in Toms River. Had the hummus and Baba Ganoush with veggies For entrees my mom had a delicious salad and I had the Chicken Shawarma Platter. Really great. Rice was phenomenal Then for dessert I had baklava but it was their twist on it so that was great too. It had warm honey drizzled on it that's what it tasted like and they used I think walnuts and almonds or cashews and almonds. Really yum.

I wish I was able to give this restaurant a true review. Unfortunately I placed an order through their store front. Went to go pick it up to find the place was closed. Google stated they opened at 1. All of their online ordering platforms were open as well. Not sure what happened. Hopefully I will be able to update my review in the future.

I've been wanting to visit Baladina for a while and I can definitely say it was worth the wait! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in Baladina is wonderful. Then, the food. Glorious! We had some zatar bread and a pickle platter, and how unique it was! Not just pickled cucumber, but also carrots, olives, and even a lemon (which was super good!). Our mains came out hot and fresh, with saffron rice and a Mediterranean-style salad. All the food was heavenly and definitely not like much that you can get in Ocean County right now. I was told they have Friday and Saturday night dinners with dance entertainment, and I'll certainly be showing up for one of those soon! You simply MUST visit here, for a taste of something unique and wonderful.

Eh. It was going. Wasn’t too flavorful. Very bland and wasn’t a lot of food in the wrap.

Zaatar pita bread was way below average compared to other Mediterranean places we have been to; it was crispy not fluffy Muhammara could have been spicy, pita bread that came with it here is not fluffy at all (seems like store bought, not freshly prepared) However - the falafels were yumm and roasted to perfection - Guava juice was rewarding too We were here on a Thursday night so missed the belly dancers. 👯

Have been here several times in the last few weeks and all I can say is it is great. Have tried multiple dishes and desserts. The staff is amazing also, you must go and enjoy.
