In comparison to the Planting Fields Arboretum; Bailey's low profile is great minus the major crowds at the Planting Fields. You can enjoy nature and the unique horticulture available at this location.

A very nice arboretum with several easy shaded trails to take a walk. There are benches located along the trails to either take a rest or to just take in the quiet woods.

A low-profile sanctuary in north-central Nassau County. One other car was in the lot at the time of our visit. The metasequia trees did not disappoint. Both a portapotty and real bathrooms are available. Mosquitoes are present in the wooded areas.

This good place to visit for anyone seeking tranquility. They're a lot trails to walk. Some beautiful trees to check out.

This is an awesome spot to bring your family, particularly if you have kiddos. We had a blast at the playground, where they even have musical instruments to play with. We spotted a massive turtle at the pond, which got the little ones super hyped. It's a definite must-visit if you're in the area.

Update: Came here finally in the summer! I'm in love with this place. phenomenal nature with so much life. Beautiful flowers, trees, butterflies, bees, deers, birds, etc. Many places to sit and even have picnik. 🦋They have a portapotty. 🦋there's a children's area 🦋pets are allowed Very nice area. Beautiful trees and lakes. Took a nice hike here in the freezing cold. There's a children's area as well, which is very nice. I recommend this park for a nice stroll in nature and taking your children here for a good quality time.

Relaxing trails, parking lot, dog friendly (on leash), and restrooms. It was my first time here, but definitely won't be my last.

Great place to walk and enjoy the trees and fresh air! Plenty of benches too
