Bagel Twist & Deli - Bagel shop in Teaneck - 380 Queen Anne Rd, USA

If the stated hours say 3, then don’t close early or change your hours. This is the third time recently I have gone and the door is shut and locked. Time varies between 2pm and 2:45. Today was 2:45. Service varies greatly when I have gone there from good to horrible. They have been out of certain salt/everything etc. The way the cashier and line operates is pretty bad and I have had to correct them on occasion when they got my order wrong. Bagels ARE good and tasty when you can get them, and if they have them. Salt bagels use really nice flake salt. But overall given the highly variable nature of what I have seen I can’t in good conscience say go here when there are other options nearby.

Not a bad place. Price was ok. Taylor Egg n cheese sandwich was good, but only 1 egg which is a lil disappointing. Also bought a cinnamon roll, which looked good in the counter, but when I went to eat it 20 mins later, I noticed it was STALE. I did bring it back and explained it to them and they had no problem offering my money back. I didn't want that but they did give me a coffee for the issue. Well done guys .

Besides not having alot of seating the place was very clean. I tried the bacon cheese burger on one occasion and it wasn't good at all it just tasted like a slab of meat with no seasoning. On the second visit I tried a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll , it was much better and very tasty. The lady behind the counter was very friendly.

Save your time and go across town to the better rated Bagel shop! This one is literally up the street so for convenience I called in a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese, after 15 min still wasn’t ready but I paid and left either way. Got home and ate 1/4 then bit into the bottom half only to find it taste like SALT. Inspected the other half and it was a salt bagel that had been scraped off. Why not just say you don’t have plain. Called and no answer so went back to be met with the worst service EVER. Admitted it had been scraped and basically shrugged, I said you can’t do that to people his response- couldn’t have been that bad you ate it. Then proceeded to say they wouldn’t make anything else, gave me my money back and said they didn’t have anything I’d like, even after I said I’d just take a different bagel. Absolute jerk. Spend your money elsewhere

We ordered a couple of lox and cream cheese bagels. There was enough lox and cream cheese that we could’ve split one bagel between us. Yes it would be nice if they would put the cash only sign up where you order. It seems to be a mom and pop place that caters to the locals. Not much space for dining in and the music was pretty loud. Most people seem to order ahead and take out on the Sunday morning we were there.

The cold cut sandwiches are pretty good but the quality is inconsistent . Bacon egg and cheeses are usually always burnt/dry….and They ALWAYS close before the stated time ! I called in an order & when i came to pick it up the doors were LOCKED. No one even had the common courtesy to call and let me know they’d be closing early. I waited outside about 15 minutes before seeing someone inside walk pass. I knocked for about another minute and they preceded to ignore me. Finally they came to door & gave me my food. I’ve been a loyal customer to this place and am very disappointed by their customer service

Dec '23 Update: Changing my rating from 2 star to 3 star because I ordered pancakes and they were really good. Nov '23 Review (still stands): Below quality breakfast sandwhiches. Burnt bacon that sometimes tastes like it has freezer burn and tasteless eggs. Tried 3 times just to give it a chance. Location takes cash only (I mean even street vendors are taking card 🥴)

I ordered some deli meat a quarter pound worth. No problem right? I go to pay with my card when I noticed a cash only sign by the register. Keep in mind there are two lanes. One for ordering the other to pay. They don't have a sign in the ordering lane saying cash only before ordering and don't mention it when placing the order. I didn't have cash and they told me there is an ATM. What if I didn't have an ATM card? You just made something for nothing. Put a sign there when someone orders or better yet tell your employees to mention it before placing the order. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't tell you so you feel bad because you already ordered it and they made it so now you're stuck having to use their ATM which they probably own or get a cut from if they don't own it. It's shady as hell. It was my first time there and my last hope it was worth the $2.50 you made from the 🏧. What I bought cost $2.75. It cost more than double what I bought between the ATM fee and what the bank charges to use the ATM. Well they lost a potential repeat customer.
