Baek Ri Hyang - Korean restaurant in South Salt Lake - 3390 S State St #31, USA

There aren’t very many Korean restaurants in Utah so fortunately we have this one located inside of Chinatown. I have visited Korea before and the food here is authentic and each dish tastes almost the same as restaurants in Korea. I was really craving cold noodles and this restaurant definitely satisfied my cravings. Highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Korean experience. One thing to note is that this restaurant leans more on the pricier side.

Nice spot to eat in Chinatown! We were promptly seated, though it took them a while for them to take our order. We ordered the Ja Jang Myeun (noodles) which were alright, not very salty at all, the Sundubu Soup at a medium spice which was SO good, and the Seafood Pancake that came with a sauce and it was delicious! They gave us eight little side dishes to go along with our food after we ordered. We had to ask twice for more rice and bowls, but otherwise the service was good, they checked up on us several times. Atmosphere was nice. Food was pricey, but would recommend otherwise!

We were promptly seated + our server was attentive. The Bulgogi beef dish was delicious. Water was refreshing + rice was perfect. A bit pricey.

First time here, lunch, enjoyed it a lot. Food amount to price ratio is excellent. Side dishes were wonderful and plentiful. Same with the main dishes. Clean environment. The staff is a bit quiet but attentive. Will be back.

I love this place! I’ve been here so many time. The kimchi Jigae is the best in Utah, Everytime, I come here I try something new and they don’t disappoint, the ambience is good, gives a little bit upscale feeling…They can get a little bit pricey tho but the food in there is worth it!

Really good, quick and clean Korean Restaurant. Would come again, Spicy Pork Bulgogi and Black Bean Noodles w/ pork were really good. Tons of food, couldn't even finish it all, definitely a place to try if you love Korean.

A great experience, and delicious food. As tourists from San Francisco, we decided to check out Chinatown and this restaurant. Servers were attentive and nice. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. They let you refill the side dishes once, after that they charge you. We got the bulgogi, black bean noodle w/seafood, and mackerel. All of them were yummy and fulfilling. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but highly recommend!

I had very high expectations coming in since it had been touted as the most authentic with the largest menu in Utah. The menu is large and it was fun looking through all the options. My disappointment came from expecting the banchan to be more amazing. There was more variety than others but not more amazing. Having said that the sauce with the tofu was quite tasty. I do want to go back and try more of the variety they have.
