Bad Rock Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Columbia Falls - 480 Bad Rock Dr, USA

The Bad Rock B and B was absolutely the most comfortable and soothing place to stay as my husband and I planned our hiking adventures in Glacier. Bill, our host was so welcoming, friendly, thoughtful, with a great sense of humor, very attentive and filled with incredible recommendations! Located 20 minutes from the Apgar and West Glacier (Going to the Sun Road) entrance, 20 minutes from Whitefish, 20 minutes from the Kalispell Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Columbia Falls grocery store (for snacks and sandwiches) and restaurants, the location was perfect in every way. We enjoyed rafting with the Glacier Raft Company, hiking around Lake McDonald, as well as walking along the beach at Apgar Village and driving the beautiful Going to the Sun Road. Our Bad Rock B and B breakfast each morning was incredibly delicious, including but not limited to wonderful fresh homemade Belgium waffles with strawberries and fresh fruit, scones, egg casseroles and quiche, croissants, hot teas and coffee. There were also chickens who laid the most delicious eggs! There was a game room my husband loved where he played pool, darts and air hockey after dinner in the evenings with some of the other guest we met! Our charming host, Bill, made sure we had a delicious breakfast on the go when we left our final morning. He also provided ice chest and ice packs for us to use during our hiking days. Our bedroom was clean and spacious with table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom large! Of course, the views of the mountains were stunning everyway you turned. I highly recommend this beautiful B and B and give it a 5 star +++ rating.

We had an absolute fantastic experience at Bad Rock Bed and Breakfast. Bill could not have been nicer. He had tons of recommendations for site seeing, restaurants, activities, etc. The breakfasts were amazing. We were definitely not expecting gourmet, but we were pleasantly surprised and left happy each morning. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were immaculate outside. We also enjoyed the game room equipped with pool table, air hockey, darts, and a shuffleboard table. Nights were beautiful sitting out by the firepit and enjoying the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back. This place is a gem!

We were a party of two families with children visiting for 8 days the beginning of August. We booked Badrock looking for an alternative to an AirB&B. I was attracted by easy access to the Glacier entrance, the full Montana breakfast every morning and regular cleaning refresh services offered. Additionally they had a “guest kitchen”, free laundry and a fun game room. Communication was always easy and extremely fast from my first call in the middle of the winter asking about kid activities and which rooms would suite a family of 4 and a family of 5 best. I think I was sold when he said the kids could help him collect eggs in the morning. The property far exceeded our expectations. The location is stunning and we looked forward to breakfast every morning. Bill we responsive to anything and everything we needed. They have a number of items you can check out to borrow such as walking sticks, rain jackets, sunscreen, etc. The one room cabins were large enough to fit the full family and the beds are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Bill throughly enjoyed interacting with the kids and gave them a lot of freedom across the property - the hen house was the favorite place to visit. There was even a hand-stand competition he participated in and won. Coffee was available starting at 5:30am and the kids fav part was making a hot chocolate every morning. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to return.

This is our 3rd visit here and as always it was a joy spending time at this immaculate and very well kept B&B! Food was very good at breakfast! Rooms were exceptional as always. Accommodations and available items to use in the park in case you forgot something are always available and many! A wonderful gam room and kitchen with room for all visiting available if needed is fantastic!

We’ve been to many B & B’s around the world and Badrock was one of the BEST! Everything about it - the beautiful and welcoming residence, the well kept grounds, our “cabiny” and spacious room, the delicious, gourmet breakfasts and Bill and his staff’s graciousness made our four night stay an absolute pleasure! We were so glad we stayed at Badrock rather than in the park! It was a gorgeous, quiet, immaculately clean and peaceful location! Thank you!

My husband and I had the best experience we could’ve ever hoped for. We immediately felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and the hospitality was truly amazing throughout. The property is so picturesque and peaceful, and we couldn’t believe how clean our cabin was; the whole place was immaculate! We were cozy and comfortable the entire time. And the breakfasts…so fresh and delicious!!! I can’t say enough good things about this bed & breakfast. Everything was perfect.

My husband and I stayed at Bad Rock B&B and had a wonderful experience! It's a beautiful facility, in a great location for getting to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and our room was lovely. We were only there for two nights, but it seemed like a lot of people were staying longer and treating the place like home--playing in the game room, making fires, etc. We were too tired from hiking! I would go back.

Bill and team at the B&B make you feel a part of the family. Amazing breakfast, they catered to our request for vegetarian. They also have books and jackets , walking sticks that you can borrow. Extremely considerate to all needs. Just an amazing experience
