We waited approx 15 min for a table. Collin gave us great recommendations. She was knowledgeable and anticipated our needs. The food was phenomenally fresh and the portions were huge. Will be returning very soon... Especially since they have a new garden menu every week. We got dessert to go and will be trying them later.

Nice, quaint farm to table restaurant. This was my husband and my first time trying Backwoods Crossing. It is a little on the pricey side, but the food was delicious! We ended up starting off with the stuffed crab balls. For our main meals we ordered the beast and the black and bleu boar burger. You can walk around and see where they grow their fresh ingredients for the restaurant. There are rabbits, chickens, bee hives, and plenty of greens. We had great service, then it just fizzled out half way through. My husband had to wait to get refills for his drink and ended up going up to the hostess to pay our bill because our waitress didn't come back around. All in all, would definitely make another trip to try other things off the menu!

Great atmosphere, nice decor, beautiful food presentation! Our waitress was really friendly, answering all the questions, helped us with our menu choices and was on top of all our needs. Everything that we ordered was delicious and fresh, especially the boar burger was amazing!

Wow!!! This place was so amazing from start to finish. We had mozzarella logs to start that were perfectly fried with fresh tomato marinara. My husband and I both had starter salads. One spinach salad with fresh mushrooms, red onion, tomatoes and homemade ranch dressing. My husband had a Caesar salad with fresh Parmesan. For entrees we had Fried catfish over polenta with bacon greens, a Ribeye steak sandwich, and an Ahi tuna sandwich. I can’t pick a favorite because they were all SOOO good. For dessert we shared the chocolate tiramisu with a scoop of ice cream on top with strawberries and cream on the side. It was phenomenal! I wish we lived closer. 10+ stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an early dinner with Frog Legs and Rowdy Shrimp for appetizers. The Frog Legs were dry and gamey in spite of the great sauces. For our mains we had the Country Catfish Filet and Thick-n-Thin Steak Melt. Both dishes were far superior to the appetizers.

Excellent service and great food options… came for dinner on a Wednesday when they release their weekly menu… place was busy for a rainy weekday… had the key lime pie and it was smooth…

Favorite restaurant I’ve been to recently, and that’s saying something. Wish I lived in Tallahassee—I’d be here all the time. Everything we ordered was amazing. The property itself is beautiful and makes for a lovely post-dinner walk. Highly recommend the Gulf Shrimp with Spirit salad, the black bean burger (or patty added to the salad), the thick n thin sandwich, and the beast burger. But really, there were six of us and we all ordered different dinner items and loved them: you seriously can’t go wrong

From farm to table, it's not a bad place to stop by and experience for yourself. The food was good and they got some of the farm right there surrounding the restaurant. It's a busy location, so plan accordingly. I did have the runs afterward for a few days. But I guess that's expected when you're missing your daily dose of preservatives.
