Dude, this place is dope. Super-nice Indian (like Eastern) family running the place. They're super-nice, will get you ice, offer you food, whatever you need, it's all good. And the rooms - whoa, you can smoke in 'em. Must have died and gone to heaven. A super-comfy bed, refrigerator, microwave, clean bathroom, good shower, decent flat screen and an ashtray- seriously I'm in love. And all for under $60 - git outta town. Love this place. 🥰 And your car parked outside the door. Can't say enough - this is just a great spot and part of the new America. Screenwriters take note. 😉
Got caught in a horrible rain storm. Checked in near midnight. Check-in was super quick. Room was clean, comfortable and quaint. Within minutes I had four kids sound asleep dry and safe. Thank You B&B
Found this along US 56 by late night accident. Nice accident. Clean, smells clean, good beds, acceptable pillows, everything works, hot shower has pressure, refrigerator had a real freezer, nice towels. I even liked the art. Older motel updated, maintained and cleaned by people who take pride in their work. If I need a hotel one day out of Albuquerque then I will make a point to get this far..
Rooms are small and very out dated. Towels were every shade of white except actual white. It was very quiet at night. Perfect for a quick sleep before getting back on the road
We stayed overnight in room 236. The room has been updated fairly recently and has nicely done, fresh paint, and new bedding, furniture, and bathroom sink. The outside of the motel also has been updated and looks very well cared for.||||The only downsides were the clothes hanging rack (old and rusty) and the painfully slow wifi. In the evening, the wifi was almost useless (even switching around among the four networks). It was better in the wee hours of the morning.
I love motels, especially when traveling with my dog. This was one of the cleanest I’ve ever been to. Towels were plentiful. Heat was easy to manage. Manager is kind, not talkative, though. Outside has been well maintained. I highly recommend it.
I love staying here, rooms are always clean, there are smoking rooms available, great selection of tv channels. Some of the rooms have a mini kitchen with full sized fridges and cooking ranges. Also there's probably spooky things in the attic. Great place to stop in at if you need a clean safe place to rest on your travels!
Upon check in I discovered that the front desk staff doesn't use a computer but a legal pad of paper and you actually have to help them find the reservation because they don't speak English at all except for the word "no". This is a big problem - the rates were in the mid 70's and the rooms were just okay. There was major carpet stains in our room, and there was a clicking sound in the bathroom that continued every time the light was on||||They do have fluffy towels and a frig and microwave, plus flat screen TV and wi-fi - but no breakfast, not even coffee and very hard beds. The room smelled very musty every time we entered it, but the AC worked well and would cover the odor after awhile. Most of the parking is gravel and no plants or vegetation anywhere. If you are staying in Hugoton, I recommend the bed and breakfast at the other side of town.
