Aziza - Israeli restaurant in Atlanta - 1170 Howell Mill Road Suite P10b, USA

On my last night in Atlanta, I visited this Israeli restaurant based on a recommendation. I wasn't disappointed! I started with an Israeli beer since I've never had one and it was excellent. I ordered the octopus appetizer, which worried me because I know how hard it is to prepare properly. Wow was it delicious! I tried a lamb appetizer with beans, which was similarly tasty. It was all an explosion of flavors. My server was super helpful and explained everything. The place had a cool bar and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This is my new favorite restaurant!! The food here is outstanding! We had the hummus #39 with eggplant and that was IMO, the best dish we had. Also loved the mussels and the rock shrimp. Lovely indoor atmosphere and great service. Cocktails were good, too. There is a parking garage next to the restaurant and the restaurant will give you a code to scan so 3 hours of your parking is free. It is very convenient.

We came here at the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is charming, the service was attentive yet not intrusive, and the food was some of the best we have ever had. The hummus (not pictured, sorry) was phenomenal as was the Muhammara dip. We then shared the Al Ha'Esh platter (skewers of lamb, beef, and chicken with roasted veggies) and it was ridiculously delicious. We ended the night with the toffee date cake and it was “like a warm hug”. (I know, I actually said that to my husband and I’m not one to say things like that, lol). Great experience and a wonderful place for a date night or gathering with friends.

Edited: increased from 4 to 5 after the manager contacted me within 20 mins of posting my original review and offered a refund for the Al Ha’Esh dish. I’ve been hitting up Aziza since 2022, mainly for their exceptional food and vibes. However, I’ve recently noticed some changes, such as a new menu and possibly new kitchen staff. I must say, the overall food experience just isn’t what it used to be. The owner/manager appears busy, continually helping and checking in with his staff, which is always very nice to see and appreciated. Their hummus is still absolutely top-notch, but when I’m spending $90 on Al Ha’Esh (skewers), I expect high-quality meat. Instead, I received overcooked, burnt, and dry cuts today… Overall, Aziza is still a solid choice for tasty starters, but if you’re looking for a feast of grilled meats, I’d suggest trying other places.

This spot has the best atmosphere. The lighting was low and it was so cute. The food was great, no complaints but it is a bit pricy. The bread we got with the hummus was SO good! Our server was super nice but they seemed to be a bit understaffed when we went on a Wednesday night. I’d go back for a special occasion!

Great time. Went a little early to enjoy the quieter atmosphere. Had drinks, apps, dinner and dessert. All delicious! We will be back. We have to share this gem with friends.

Ebony was amazing ! She was patient and explained each dish in detail ; as it was our first time there! We would not only recommend the restaurant but most definitely our server . She gets 10 out of 5 stars! Thank you for the outstanding service!

Reliably good, great pricing, great atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious, as are the drinks! Service is great. Awesome place to take guests, too. They're able to accommodate various party sizes. I've never had anything that wasn't absolutely stellar there. It's definitely on our regular rotation in Atlanta.
