Ayres Hotel Vista / Carlsbad - Hotel in Vista - 2100 Radiance Wy., USA

My husband and I stayed here last year. We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. The staff were all very kind and courteous. Breakfast is included and they had a lot of options such as eggs, bacon, bagels, etc. They also make some breakfast items to order. The locations is also great right off a main road and close to other shops and areas. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first visit at this hotel and it won't be our last! We had our 2 dogs with us and the hotel assigns rooms on the first floor for pet owners. Our room was spacious and clean, and the front staff were always so nice. We never had a problem finding parking either. My husband, daughter, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. I was concerned for my daughter because she can be picky with eggs, but she went for seconds. There was such a variety of food to eat and the dining area was clean. This will be our go to hotel when we visit family with or without our dogs!

Breakfast is awesome! Room is clean. Staff is friendly. Bed and sheets are very comfortable. But to ask a minimum 200 characters for this review is a bit annoying. It was a good hotel for stay. Outdoor setting and seating are great. Wish their huge elevators can have card access for security concerns.

This is an incredibly reasonably-priced hotel that is also very sleek and attractive. The staff are super nice and accommodating. They are very dog-friendly which we appreciated. Dogs are allowed in the dining areas outside and the staff set us up by one of the fire pits because they could see we were cold. They kept coming to check on us to make sure we were comfortable and even offered us some board games without any prompting. We were here because my dog was having surgery nearby and several staff members wished her well which I thought was very kind.

We loved this hotel. It is clean and updated. The rooms are large. Breakfast had lots of options with an omelette station. We would stay here again. There is an outdoor area for relaxing with a cocktail. Happy hour serving local craft beers in the evenings.

Where do I start? This location and the staff is amazing! The fact that they offer early check-in, an open bar and pizza bar in the evening to night, delicious breakfast, and the cleanliness/ambiance of the rooms and hotel itself. This is the ideal hotel stay I imagined for a quick trip. Will 100% come back next time I visit and will be recommending this location to friends and family. Big shout out to their staff and especially their general manager, Carl Holmes. He welcomed us warmly and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you Ayres Hotel Vista/Carlsbad!

This hotel has the potential to be great, however, the front desk staff is what is preventing that. From my initial call on the phone to confirm my reservation, along with my check-in experience, there is a lot of room for improvement. During check-in, the employee was awkward, not friendly or welcoming. They also did not offer me any info on where the pool, gym or even the elevators were in which would lead me to my room. Instead, I had to walk around the property like a lost tourist to figure out where everything was. I realize this is not a Ritz Carlton property, however, customer service goes a long way. Another issue I had with this hotel is the fact that non-electric vehicles were parked in the parking spaces with vehicle chargers. When I brought this up to the gentleman at the front desk, he simply asked me “are they charging their car?” Ummm, as I had stated, the vehicle was not electric. Several hours later, the vehicle was still parked there. Overall, the hotel is nice because it is newer construction, however, that is the only real positive here.

I have stayed here twice in 2 months ...My son lives in San Diego I was looking for a nice affordable pet friendly ( and pet affordable) safe place to stay and this hotel has not disappointed...the Hotel staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious...the rooms are comfortable ...love that they don't charge a lot to bring your pet was so happy I could bring her to see my son and was affordable for me ... We will always stay there if possible when in the area. I did have a slight issue with making our reservations I left a message for a Manger and received a call from the General Manager he was awesome such a nice man and the issue was taken care of and I was totally impressed that someone called me back ...Thank you for the Great Service!
