I enjoyed my time staying here. And have stayed multiple times. As someone who travels on a budget, this worked well for me.
Didn't really enjoy my stay only because I couldn't breathe right in the room unless the window is open but every time I open the window I get bit by spiders and insects
Imws Not there two wks ago. Someone stole my phone n I guess that's why it my on my location. I did stay there Many ,many years go and it s nasty and xpensive for what they offered. Looks like not much has changed ...except the painting of the place.
listed price 250 charged me 320 then gave me the longest list of rules I have ever seen to sign. The room looked nothing like the one in the photo and shared a wall with the communal bathroom. They did not show me the room beforehand and have a strict refund policy for obvious reasons. excellent grift
Yes, they have Nice clean rooms in what looks like a home which was converted. Affordable for some people but not others. They cannot explain who gets charged more, nor why. HBO and limited cable. The visitor policy is strictly enforced, with curfews and high expectations and no flexibility with any of the rules. Yes, the rooms are real nice and clean. But the management hires a private security force to bully any guest they feel does not fit their expectations. Here you are at the mercy of a highly judgmental management team. If you question their authority, you will be shown the door. Even if you paid them on time for months and months. That was my experience. And no pets allowed, not even domestic cats with deposit.
Stay in room 6 with my family, had to pay 270 per week to sleep in a room with rats in the next room and mold on every window. Cable was okay, but the wires were lose and never fix. Had to share bathroom and shower on 2nd floor with cold water. Very strict on visitors. Room key is and extra 10 dollars. Would not recommend it, but it's all you can afford than you kind of have to.
Found out about Avondale Hotel on Craigslist. Limited free parking, linens serviced on Tuesday mornings, toilet and shower are at the end on each of flour floors, unless you paid for a private bath. Rates are daily or weekly, checkout is 1000, no exceptions. Microwave by the office had one of the two heating elements burnt out and the glass plate inside wouldn't rotate. Direct TV including HBO. Payment in cash only, maximum stay three weeks, or owner runs a report on you, social security number required on application. The room was bare but decent, clean, hardwood floor which I like. There was a steam heater in the room but no heat, it wasn't cold enough to need it. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. Free WiFi but had connection issues on and off.
Located in a really quite neighborhood, it's a safe place. There's no need to worry about thef or robbery in this neighborhood, did I mention that you'll always find Parking. I stayed here for a week and from my own empirical experience, two thumbs up and a definite recommend...but hey, don't take my word for it, you must experience it for yourself. I honestly don't know if the "rats" comment is true or not, for I saw no such thing, but I can say that things do change over time.
Cozy, unpretentious yoga studio for people of all ages and abilities. I've only gone to this location one time so far but the instructor was great. Lots of natural light and a nice waiting area with clean restrooms and water available. Highly recomme
Love to support small business inspired by family and culture and led by strong women! Highly recommend the latiya latte and champorado mocha (as well as their chicken empanada) ð we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with co-owner Ari and l
