Pros: Lots of room, roomy private balconies, full kitchen and spacious, modern bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. Cons: Informed upon check in that housekeeping is by request only. Provided two small bars of soap for 5 people. Had to find dumpster to take out trash. Shower head did not work properly for entire visit. Toilet backed up for no reason. No screen door in one of the rooms leading to the balcony. MOST CRITICALLY, the HVAC ductwork was not controlled by our room’s respective thermostats. The two bedrooms are separated by the living room. One bedroom’s thermostat controlled the temperature in the other bedroom’s bathroom! The thermostat would not go below 72 degrees despite it being in the upper 60’s outside. That said, the rooms, especially the living room, were Chernobyl hot to the point we could not close the windows. I have never paid over $325.00 per night for a hotel as I am not rich. I expect a heck of a lot more luxury when the Avila suites are billed as “luxury”. Not even close. I have had better accommodations in a Holiday Inn. Never again for Avila. The Lodge itself was wonderful.
No refrigerators or microwaves in the Avila Luxury Suites. Broken ice machine Dirty dishes left on walkway for several days. Toilets that did not flush in the Lodge. TV in bathroom did not work. Closet door off track Cracks in plaster Cracks in shower floor Bad outlets Very bad appearance on bldg. Exposed electrical conduit Only one vending machine Bad lighting Confusing signage.
We had a two bedroom suite which was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious. It was equipped with a full kitchen, dishes, etc. There was also a four person dining table and a living room area with a gas fireplace. Our rooms faced the lake and had a great view. We didn't order any services but all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and responsive. We definitely plan on going back!
Pretty nice place! Lots of nice amenities and good service
We enjoyed our 4 days at Bass and Breakfast. The breakfasts were amazing! The presentation and taste were 4 star restaurant quality. The views were breathtaking. We loved having access to the floating dock. My husband enjoyed fishing and I enjoyed re
Several local people recommended we try this place, so I was pleasantly surprised that we got right in. Great view of the lake and they have plenty of seating inside and outside. The Bam Bam shrimp egg roll appetizer was outstanding. I ordered the st

Good food and our waiter was fantastic! The chips were fresh and the salsa was great! Everything was hot and fresh and tasted great! The was hardly any wait & service was on point. I wish I would have caught his name. Would definitely go back when I
Great food, Friday nite special, roast beef, potatoes, gravy, green beans. I only ate 1/2, to go box. Our waitress, Misty, only waitress. She did a great job. Outside seating, view of water, docks and boats. Awesome! Will definitely go again.
We tent camped and realized when we arrived that we had forgotten a few items. The management (John) was extremely helpful in providing us with what we needed and even went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The bathrooms
Family fun place. Tall ropes course that you can stay on as long as you like. Ice cream and adult drinks available. We didn't eat, but the food looked good. Call ahead to confirm they are open. Due to excessive heat they closed early, but were very n
