We picked this hotel because it was pet friendly since we were traveling with 2 cats. The fee was $75 and non-refundable. Our cats are older and do not leave any type of mess, so I wish we didn’t have to pay $75 for them to be there, especially considering I only paid $60 plus 10K points for the room itself. Outside of that, the location is perfect off I-95 for easy off and on while traveling. There are a number of close restaurants that are walkable. The hotel is virtually brand new with clean and spacious rooms. I love the room darkening shades and big TV. The A/C worked great. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection including Jimmy Dean Sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruits. I also liked the twin fancy coffee makers that provide great coffee thanks to the beans being ground fresh for each cup. All the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel, I just wish I didn’t have to pay $75 for my pets that are cleaner than most people. :-\

Location is pretty good. Ample outdoor parking. Check in was smooth and efficient. Person who checked me in was polite and very helpful. Appreciate that after a long trek on the road. Hotel itself felt like it was rather new and appeared updated for the most part. However, the room I was in felt damp. The pillows, the floor, the surfaces all felt cool but moist in a subtle way to the touch. After driving for hours on end and bringing my bags up to the fourth floor, I had zero desire to change rooms. ||But, I can say with certainty that if I was going to be staying longer than what was left of the one night I had, I certainly would have asked for a room change. I crashed and made the most of it, but did hear water trickling in the air conditioning unit, hence the damp environment. Breakfast was included, but I left early the next morning and didn’t make time to check out. I mentioned my issue to the manager upon check so hopefully they will be able to add a dehumidifier or service the unit because other than that, the room was comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say that the experience was outstanding. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were absolutely amazing, providing top-notch service with a warm and welcoming attitude. I also want to extend a special thank you to Ken, the General Manager, who was incredibly helpful during some issues I encountered. His professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction truly made a difference in my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay.

Our room was clean and quiet. The only issue was that it was really humid. Everything felt damp and sticky in the room which made it hard to regular body temperature at night, so it wasn't the best nights sleep. As another reviewer said, the shower took a little time to get to warm, but if you wait to step inside until the water warms up, that isn't an issue. The water pressure was excellent! 4 stars are for convenient location and cleanliness.

Very clean! We stayed for 2 nights and the room was very new and clean especially the bedding was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but still good. Hot pre-made breakfast sandwiches and egg bites, cereal, bagels, fruit, granola bars, yogurt. 24 hour coffee machine with all the fixings was a very handy feature. Because of other reviews, I looked for a homeless camp but didn't see one. There is construction happening behind the hotel, but we stayed over the weekend so I never heard any noise at all. I felt extremely safe in this area. Bathroom was nice, room was nice, staff was nice, I had a nice time!! A bit of a drive into Savannah but it's not so bad! Thank you!

This was mine and my husband’s first time staying at an Avid hotel. Josh at the desk was awesome!!! He was super friendly ( like you already knew him) and he was super informative. He definitely made you feel like family! The room was very nice and the bed and shower were amazing! The breakfast was really good and the atmosphere was really nice! Thanks again for such a great stay!

Stayed at the Avid Hotel for one night while traveling to Cape Coral, FL as we do every year. I'm currently in month 9 of my pregnancy and very tired and forgetful, so we did not book in advance, but they accommodated us at 10:30PM anyway. The staff was professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and cozy and the bathrooms were stocked with Dove products rather than the drying little bar of soap and too small shampoos. The hotel is located in a safe area with restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also well updated (if not completely new, I'm not sure). I cannot say anything negative about this hotel or staff! I was planning to leave a good review, but now I feel the need to completely elaborate, which I NEVER do.. I left my mother's brand new lunch box and realized hours after we had left, so I called the front desk (I believe I spoke with the manager, KP) to ask if they would hold it until we drove back through. The staff searched for the lunch box immediately, called me back, and agreed to label it for us and hold it until we came back through, which will be a week later from this review! So not only is the hotel great, but the staff is kind and full of integrity. I do not base my hotel choices off if anyone disliked food or thought the pillows were not comfy, but I do choose based off price and safety. Although, I will say the food was actually better than most hotels and with more options. They also have a small section where you can buy snacks and drinks, which is great especially late at night if you needed something. So, if you're driving through or even staying in Savannah - absolutely consider this hotel. You will be safe, in a clean space, and amongst trustworthy staff for a relaxing and comfortable experience, even if just for a night. Lastly, my mother and I are both travel RNs, so we've stayed in many hotels from cheap ones to the Ritz. This has been our favorite, especially for price. Hope this review helps!

Was very nice and clean, we didn’t have microwave or coffee pot in our room🥲… Breakfast was very good , lots of options there. Loved their coffee bar. I wish they would have a pool , other than those things , our stay was comfy!!
