Staff was so helpful, they let me check in really early so my friends and I could go out to lunch together without my luggage. They even made an excellent restaurant recommendation. Coffee in lobby could have been stronger but I appreciated having it available 24 hours. Someone was stomping around on another floor but the room still provided a good night's sleep so catching the 4am shuttle (prompt driver!) was very convenient.

Picked the hotel as a convenient first night close to the airport with free transport. Location was great. It is in a quiet area, rooms were of an ideal temperature and good size. There are hot and cold drinks available in the lobby at all times which is great after a long journey.|The only problem I had was incorrect information from by UK booking company, so I would urge you to check locally. I waited for the transport bus at the location I'd been given and it did not turn up at the expected time. After ringing the hotel, it turns out that you need to request a pick up and it arrives at a different level to where I had been standing- Within 5 minutes from calling, I was on a bus and I have to say the staff were excellent. |It is a short walk to the beach and I had a lovely walk to the nearest tram stop for transport into the city.

My daughter chose to spend her "golden birthday" in Salem. I personally had no idea the fall was a big deal in the area, so I booked late. This was the only hotel available within MILES of Salem, so I reluctantly booked, but I am THRILLED that I did! As a person who travels a lot for business and pleasure (probably a quarter of my year or more is spent in hotels), I can honestly say that the customer service here was absolutely the best I've had in a LONG time. Friendly, smiling, happy to assist, just a great crew and great vibe. My daughter had a blast and we slept like babies. The room was clean, they even had sugar free options for coffee flavoring haha! I really appreciated that! Thank you for being so good to us while we were there. Salem isn't really my jam, but if we ever find ourselves in the Boston area again, I will happily stay here again!

Great price for decent location, clean rooms and hotel overall. Rooms all have Dove products from hand soap and lotion to body wash and shampoo/conditioner. While the beds are a bit too soft for my liking, still comfy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to hearing upstairs very loud and heavy foot steps late night and early morning hours. Breakfast was decent for quick go.

Stayed here two nights in December over the weekend. Picked because of good value and proximity to the airport. Rooms are on the small side, but works just fine for a solo traveller.||Complimentary shuttle and continental breakfast included. ||Staff was friendly and went out of their way to offer two bottles of water in addition to the points for being an elite member.

My party and I enjoyed this stay at the Avid. Our first experience when we pulled into the parking was "This looks like a nice place". The Front Desk immediately welcomed us. The interior of the Lobby Was clean, neat , modern in design. The rooms were nice, beds super comfortable . Gym great even had a little snacks. Having the airport shuttle and free parking was one of the reasons we first choose Avid.

SO CLEAN!! Very convenient to airport and great shuttle service. Affordable. Super nice staff. The front desk guy went out of his way to help us with a little problem. Pretty perfect. The shower was pristine and we love the refillable lotion and shampoo bottles with so little waste.

We have family in Massachusetts, staying here made it easy for them to come visit and enjoy a meal and catching up in the lounge area in the lobby. While we stayed here my husband enjoy the use of the fitness room, they have a great multifunctional exercise machine that my husband loved. We enjoyed the variety of ethnic restaurants around and how close we were to the beach, city and shopping centers. Their to go Breakfast was decent. I would had apriciate if they had a dresser to put our clothes away, insted of hanging them across the wall or keeping them in the luggage and a microwave to warm up food instead of going to the lobby. Over all our stay was pleasant.
