Nice people, great coffee (that they roast themselves) and a relaxing atmosphere! They have more than just vanilla for sugar free syrups too! The sugar free white chocolate was yummy. The cream cheese Danish was fresh, tasty and enough for 2 to share. We will return for sure!
I enjoyed my time there. It’s a nice atmosphere. People were studying, working, etc. They have an beautifully unique, authentic Italian espresso machine.
Reasonable prices.
I don’t believe it is handicap accessible, but there is a drive thru. **EDIT: There is a ramp to the right of the stairs.**
I instantly felt welcome & cozy. The decor is inventive with beautiful woodwork in this quaint converted house. My cappuccino was perfectly made and all the prices were reasonable. The owner was extremely friendly and gladly answered all my questions. She's also an actual pilot!!!!
Amazing coffee place. Lovely italian coffee. They have a lovely espresso machine which is very unique. Lots of information on aviations as you sip that coffee. The barista is very professional and she treats you with so much of love. The place by itself is awesome, you never feel like you are in a coffee shop. Its so much different.
I had a vanilla cappuccino & it was lovely! Best coffee I've had in Springfield. I also love that the big espresso machine is on display & I can watch it being made.
The inside is unique & cozy with lots of natural light & places to sit and enjoy yourself.
My only con is that I wish there were bigger/more tables. This is the closest coffee shop to the medical school campus & as a student, I need the space to study! Would come more often if I had space to set up shop!
Aviatori is a good option for coffee if you're headed downtown, but it would be worth the visit any time. I'd encourage new patrons to go inside to check out the fun decor.
I'd describe the inside as an homage to flight, set in your grandparents' living room. It's more museum than café, but still manages to be cozy.
It's clear that the owner has pride in their product and in creating a comfortable and unique atmosphere.
Honestly, the coffee is on the expensive side, but the drinks and pastries that I've had are undeniable good. I've tried the drip coffee and an espresso based drink. The regular coffee was good, but the espresso is even better.
Last thought, I've never gotten in and out of Aviatori quickly, so I'd recommend you go with the intention of enjoying yourself and savoring quality. If you're just trying to get in and out, then there are better options to suit that need.
Great coffee and hot chocolate. The cheese bread was very tasty as was the Carmel apple muffin. Prices were very reasonable. The service was amazing and the interior is beautiful! Will be coming back.
From out of town and so glad I stopped in at Aviatori. I’ve been looking for a solid cappuccino and was so happy the one I ordered was an espresso-forward 8 oz pour. Solid shot and not bitter, just bold flavor. Will absolutely be back for seconds before I leave now that I’ve tasted their brew.
Grabbed a blueberry muffin, which was tasty and fresh—freckled with tart berries.
Another person who ordered before me got an iced drink that came with coffee ice cubes in the shape of planes! How cool is that?!
Interior is fantastic. Wish I’d had time to sit and enjoy the decoration, music, and warm environment.

I love this place ! Just have one minor complaint; they recently got rid of jalapeños and stopped cutting their veggies into smaller pieces - so the chunks are bigger. I usually add jalapeños when I get home and cut my veggies.
This is an old city experience that reminded me of neighborhoods in old east coast cities like Boston or Philadelphia. It's a quiant neighborhood bar and restaurant with the atmosphere of a 90 year old place that hasn't changed very much. Loved it. T

I came here for the first time and it was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. They were great. Our waitress also did a really good job, even with it being busy.
Delicious bold coffee and healthy food at reasonable prices! Pretty much the best caramel latte Iâve ever had - Starbucks or Dunkin donât come anywhere close to this coffee!

I visited Maldaner's for lunch twice during a recent trip to Illinois, and had terrific food both times. The service was helpful, professional and attentive. My sister told me to try the horseshoe sandwich, which originated in the area. It was humong
The employees working when we arrived on 01/17, late afternoon, were absolutely amazing. There was an issue with the dates with our online reservation (my fault) and they were beyond patient and helpful to the best of their ability. I also witnesse
