My grandson loves this place and after going there with him I realized how incredibly lucky this town is to have this place Avenue. It has really cool skateboards and accessories but what really made this place so special is the guy, Wyly, that is running the place. I think that is his name. He has the most incredible positive attitude about helping kids, a real passion for skateboarding and for teaching kids. Such a welcoming spirit and takes time to show each kid individual attention with their skateboards. He is definitely a positive role model for these kids and this town. Really do not know who owns this place but hope they know what an incredible job Wyly is doing helping kids and what a positive aspect he is.

The Avenue Skate Shop is locally owned by very active and caring members of the Tahlequah community. Absolute experts in the art these guys are happy to share information about skateboarding in Tahlequah and abroad. This team of great people helped to update and create the all new skate park after putting in countless hours maintaining the old one. Even if you don't skate this is a friendly place to stop in and just say hello.
