Avenue N - American restaurant in Rumford - 20 Newman Ave, USA

I loved this place. The food was fast, well priced and very well prepared. The empanadas are really amazing. Not too hard, not too soft and just hit perfectly. Every bite is a fantastic one. The scallops and risotto were also perfect. These dishes require nothing but enjoyment. Service was fast, exceptionally attentive and could not have been better. Well priced with ample parking. Part 2 I went back and had the pork belly with steamed buns. Wow. I knew they were going to be good but absolutely blew me away. The pickles brought it together in a way I didn't know I needed but after one bite I sure did. Moved on to the Big Mac Pizza. Better than a big Mac and nothing but joy in each bite. Could not have been a bitter hit. The pizza was even good reheated the next day. An absolute must eat. Saved some room for dessert and that carrot cake was as good as it could possibly be. I will never eat here again without having some. My favorite dessert in a very long time. As before I love this place with fast friendly service, great prices and amazing food.

Good service, tight space, loud on Friday night. Their only special — the mussels with ginger, lime, cilantro, served with 2 pieces of toasted sourdough bread were delicious! The mussels were fresh, so so fresh! I ordered a burger - it was cooked to my liking- VERY well done (most restaurants leave burgers pink). The bacon was cooked perfectly and the fries were great. The pickles were thinly sliced. Not my fav because they were a little on the sweet side. My friend had a salad with seared scallops. They enjoyed it. There were quite a bit of chickpeas in the salad. The drinks were perfect.

A favorite go to for farm to table food. Firstly, their pizza is among the best in the state. Often times, I’ll grab one on the way home from work. Ah that homemade red sauce! Now that it is soup season, theirs is the perfect way to warm up. I especially like their French Onion soup as they use fresh ingredients and marsala wine. If you drink alcohol, make sure you have their Cosmo. The service is always excellent and I guess if I had one complaint, I just wish it was roomier but, they definitely maximize the space they have.

Disappointing, that’s the word that I would describe the overall experience at this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff was pleasant and polite, but let me tell you the food was disgusting. I am for supporting local businesses, but this is ridiculous and the owner should be ashamed. I’ve paid $17 for ice cold potatoes, dry/ cold Mac and cheese. the pizza was terrible. And add insult to injury. The server asked me if I would like my food warmed up she just forgot to warm up the potatoes. She made a half hearted attempt at warming up my mac & cheese.. the food looks sooooo good in the display but don’t be fooled. I just threw away $17.

We made a reservation. (7pm) . Our table was not available when we arrived. We had to wait a short time. The restaurant was really overcrowded. And we weren't the only ones waiting. The food was really good. In the future I will prefer to order the food online and pick it up. If it's overcrowded the atmosphere isn't enjoyable.

Came here with a couple of friends and wow insanely delicious. Ordered the housemade lobster ravioli (special on the menu that night) and for dessert a flourless chocolate tort. Pics do not do it justice. Check this place out if you haven't.

First time here and it did not disappoint. Avenue N is located pretty close off the highway , but parking can be a little tough on a busy night . The restaurant is set on some type of old brick factory kinda structure . It’s pretty cool . They offer plenty of outside seating but seating inside is a little tight . Staff are very friendly and attentive , all while rocking their plaid shirts and big smiles. Adult drinks are very well made. That makes me happy lol. The food … amazing . Literally everything was phenomenal. We had a party of 15 , we ordered multiple apps and entrees and everyone was impressed . From pizza to scallops .. hands down the best food I have had in a while . I’m looking forward to a speedy return here. Mangia!

From drinks (like the delicious No.3 Cosmo) to the apps (crispy wings and calamari) to the fabulous pizza (margarita and steak pizza) to the superb free range chicken, burgers and salmon, Avenue N was a delight! The waitstaff and bartender were friendly, happy to help, and very efficient. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. We definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
