Avenue - American restaurant in Royal Oak - 31253 Woodward Ave, USA

This place is a must! Here visiting family and not from this area and just happened to come across this seemingly normal little family diner. We were all absolutely happy with our meals. With a wide variety of menu options, we all ordered something different and none of us were disappointed. The restaurant was clean and quiet, no loud background music. Even the restrooms were spotless. I would go out of my way to eat here again. They actually care about the food they serve here and it shows.

Great prices for great food. Service was awesome; fast. Great vibes. Definitely will be back.

This is a solid local place on Woodward that's always putting out good food. A lot of available seating everytime I've been there. Really enjoyed the Chicken Pot pies and would recommend that to anyone who looking for something super filling. The salads are also very good.

Everything is always piping hot and delicious. Staff is warm, attentive, and hard working. Atmosphere is relaxing, and I always find myself staying longer for that extra cup of coffee.

I went there for a quick breakfast. I ordered the egg Benedict with English muffin, ham and hollandaise sauce. My eggs were fried over easy. I really didn’t mind but it was not Benedict. The food was served in a timely manner, friendly service, great coffee, everything was well cooked. A great place to have a typical diner breakfast.

Nice family diner. Perfect location and really good food

Today we brought a large group (14) to Avenue, after being turned away from another restaurant nearby. With only 30 minutes notice, they were set up and ready for us. The service was attentive and the food was great. I will go there again and "forget" restaurant "A" in future.

I came here for the first time on a Sunday back at the end of October with my buddy for breakfast. I ordered up biscuits and gravy with over medium egg sausage and hash browns. They were pretty busy, but I didn't have to wait very long for my food. I have to say everyone was friendly, and this place seems like a well-run machine—the refills on coffee and water. This place is fantastic. When I was cashing out, the lady thanked us for coming.
