Love the experience. I brought my young child here for a performance in December 23. A Christmas Carol play. Looking forward to next Christmas. Hope to make it a tradition to visit the Avenel Performing Arts every year for a Christmas' theme play.
The first time here. I came to see Martin Sexton. The usher guided me and my husband to our "nose bleed" section seats, but we could still see the performers perfectly. Rachel Rose was on stage when we got there, and the acoustics of the place grabbed me. The music was wonderful. The seats were comfortable, and I didn't know we could bring our own beverage in, so before Martin came on stage, we snuck down to the Curtains bar & restaurant to grab a beer. We were allowed to bring them back to our seats as long as we kept the lids on our cups. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely be back.

Great place to see any show! It's a very small venue with elevated seating so there's no bad seats in the House. No matter where you sit you have a great view. Saw The Golden Girls Puppet show parody today and loved it!
I enjoy coming to the Curtains restaurant on Wednesday nights and have fun with my Karaoke family.
Avenel Performing Arts Center is a fantastic venue. If you arrive very early you can find parking at the building, if not they have other areas where you can park but it's a little bit of a walk so give yourself extra time regardless in case the main parking lot is full. Our second time there included dinner and the food was fantastic! We will definitely go again for dinner and a show!
