Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills - Hotel in Beverly Hills - 9400 W Olympic Blvd, USA

I chose this hotel for my best friend and I to stay for her 30th birthday stay-cation. It was close to the restaurant we had reservations at for dinner that evening and had the vibes that I was going for based on the pictures. Upon arrival, It was a bit hard to find because we were driving too fast, but once you know where It is, you can’t miss It. Once we entered the driveway, the valet staff greeted us at the car and took care of our bags, car, and escorted us to the restaurant where we had reservations set before we were able to check in. ||||The restaurant is a MUST try… the food is fantastic and the service of the wait staff makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable. We can personally recommend the burger, the breakfast burrito, and the breakfast sandwich. It was soooooo very good. ||||Now when It comes to the suite, It was quite large, spacious, beautiful, and they provided everything you needed for your stay. The only issues my best friend and I took with the room were the following… (1) we couldn’t figure out how to get the heat to work throughout the night, so we slept cold… HOWEVER the bed was soo comfortable, we were still able to sleep. And (2) the light next to the bed was switched off but kept turning on and off throughout the night. So unsure what that was about but, again, we still slept just fine.|||| The room as a whole was an amazing accommodation and we were very happy to be able to share in celebration of her birthday together at the Avalon Beverly Hills.||||Everyone we encountered was courteous, welcoming, and very friendly. It made for an amazing 30th birthday and stay-cation for my best friend!

Celebrated our one year wedding anniversary with a trip to California and one of our stops was at this lovely hotel and we have nothing but great things to say about the service and attention. The aesthetics in the rooms are beautiful!! They made sure to make us feel special and celebrated. We want to highlight the amazing service Carlos from the front desk gave us during our stay. I wish every hotel had a Carlos!! The breakfast at the restaurant was great as well. And the gym area and equipment were A1!! Will definitively come back.

Lovely boutique hotel with great pool area to share a drink. Marilyn Monroe lived here for a few years in one of the apartments. Also many other celebrities stayed including Lucille Ball. Special history and well restored. Comfy beds. Convenient in Beverly Hills to Rodeo Drive and nice restaurants.

I had a great experience with the Avalon. I have been a few times, it's been about a year since my last visit. The rooms seemed to have been updated making everything comfortable and convenient. Due to flight delays, I arrived late at night and Devarius made for a great experience. He was very helpful and had such a great attitude that was contagious.

Avoid this hotel if you value your safety, appreciate a service-oriented staff, and prefer a peaceful environment. It was loud, we heard gunshots and the staff pretended nothing strange had occurred. The manager made us feel silly for suggesting it was something to be worried about. With so many great hotels in LA and Beverly Hills, do not waste your money here

I have no issues at all with the service at this hotel. But for the price tis place charged, the room was surprisingly outdated. In 2024, how can a hotel not have any place to plug in a phone within 20 feet of the bed? How can a room located just above a busy street not have soundproof windows? Why was there a giant empty space in the middle of the room with no furniture? Why did I have to pass through a dirty alley to get from my room to the pool? For the amount of money this room cost, it should have been much better. I could have gotten a nicer place for the same money -- or less -- at a dozen other hotels.

The Avalon was the perfect location for us for our two night stay. Would’ve used the pool if we had more time! Walkable to many coffee shops and Rodeo Drive. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there but the front desk gave us complimentary drinks while we waited!

This hotel is truly a motel. The pool area is cute but room is dated. The staff was helpful and food and drinks are good. However it was very expensive. There are so many added fees. Parking $53.00 a night Occupancy tax $49 a night Health and wellness $11 a night Amenity surcharge $29 a night City tax $5 a night California tax $1 a night This is on top of the $350.00 a night for the room. One night we ordered chicken sandwich, fruit cup and toast. $67.00. On top of tip you pay 4% for employees to have health insurance which is great but seems like some of these additional charges should be included. Whoever runs this Marriott seems to be extremely greedy and not in touch with the reality of what they are offering.
