Avalon at Edgewater - Apartment rental agency in Edgewater - 100 River Mews Ln, USA

I’ve been living here for 6+ months, and it has been okay. Gym, parking, resident lounge and patio are great. Office staffs are kind and prompt with any request. This apartment met my expectations so far. Only complaints that cannot be resolved : 1. Minor (sometime major) noise from upstairs, especially when the kids running around. 2. Temperature does not go beyond 70 degrees during winter months. Somewhat cold, but I am getting used to it.

We've been in the Avalon Network for the past 4 years and had nothing but good things to say. Avalon at Edgewater was definitely the best location with the beautiful building, peaceful living and rather new appliances and apartments. Overall no complaints whatsoever. We recently moved to a bigger apartment in the same community and we dealt with Alyna Torres she was so friendly and super supportive really helped us get the exact apartment we wanted. Also the Manager Aaron who was equally supportive and accommodating.

We stayed 4 months at Russell Building, and enjoyed very much the apartment and the community. Everything from leasing process to move-in and the flexibility we have been given during our lease that helped very much to cope with our unprecedented plan changes have all been extremely helpful and are so much appreciated. We would like to especially thank Michelle, Brittany and John as well all the team including technical service working round the clock.

I have been living at the Avalon now for some time. I love it here, the staff is very friendly. Josue and the rest of the maintenance team have been amazing. Anytime I needed something done in the apartment they came right away. They also keep the building really clean.

Dangerous complex! I would give negative stars if allowed. My family and I have lived here for almost 3 years. This was the biggest scam corporation I have ever dealt with. Our apartment was broken into with a crowbar, and all are valuables were taken! They have absolutely no security in this complex at all, no cameras on the outside, hallways, or garage. Many residents have had there cars broken into even cars stolen directly out of the parking garage!! They do not care about the safety of their residents at all or they would install more cameras and hire actual security to protect the building. Once we moved out due safety reasons they charged us outrageous fees and took advantage of our horrendous situation. The pool is also disgusting they never change or clean the water every year it’s the same water, pool doesn’t open till after July 4th. The walls and ceilings are paper thin and then they harass you for living your normal life like walking around/ having a child. We were harassed by our downstairs neighbor for months having him bang on the ceiling. I am so happy my family is out of this horrible complex, save ur money!

My Roommate and I have been living in the Avalon for 2 years now, we love it here the maintenance team is extremely responsive and very professional (Josue). I walk my Dog about 3 times a day and I always see them or the cleaning crew fixing or cleaning something in the building and grounds, that’s reason why the place looks well maintained and clean I recommend this place to whom is looking for a nice place near the city.

If you are looking for an apartment, I do not recommend the Avalon in Edgewater. I lived here for two years and there were many issues. Firstly, in the two years I lived here, the Avalon increased my rent by 23% after the first year and 20% the second year. Secondly, the hallways always smelled of marijuana. Thirdly, the dishwasher was constantly a problem and it took weeks for maintenance to replace. The employees who work in the building were never available and there was so much turnover. The first year of living here, the pool was closed for many weeks in June due to lack of being able to find lifeguards. However, they continued to charge all residents an amenity fee without any compensation. Lastly, when I moved out, the apartment was left very clean beside the normal wear and tear of living there for two years. After moving out, the Avalon withheld my security deposit claiming it needed a “professional cleaning” even though an employee emailed saying “we did not see any visible stains on the carpet, and there was no damage on the walls.” I was very disappointed with the two years I lived here and feel strongly that the price of rent is not worth the poor experience.

I am a resident here at Avalon and my keys fell in the drain outside and I’m so happy that Axel , Josue and Enrique were here to help me get my car keys out of the drain. They spent an hour trying to retrieve my car keys for me i was so thankful when they finally got it out I wanted to give them some money but they are so kind hearted they refused to take my money. I pray God blesses these men they are truly amazing patient people. I’m so thankful for this experience.
