Autzen Inn - Motel in Eugene - 1410 W 6th Ave, USA

Five stars due to the rooms being nice and clean, the owners being nice to work with and informative, and the inexpensive cost with pet friendliness being great. The location is rough though. Very much so in the ghetto with sketchy people all over. Not Autzen Inn's fault but something to keep in mind. Otherwise a good stay if you're needing a place to sleep where it won't cost much and is a comfy and clean stay.

I purchased here because it was the only room available in town under 500 a night. I booked the room durning the time of the university graduations (I booked it months before). I noticed it was kinda run down but the reviews looked good people said it was clean and decent for the price. I spent 500 for 2 nights! You would think if they jack up the prices for graduation time then maybe they would clean the room. I guess my definition and others definition of clean are different. The room was not clean. The bed is an old spring mattress (I assume uncomfortable although I didn’t even sleep here, luckily I was able to stay with the graduate but I would have rather slept in my car then in this room). Lots of homeless people around when I went. I NEVER leave reviews good or bad but the cleanliness was so bad. The mirror was broken in the bathroom and the walls were so dirty. Microwave wasn’t clean. Nothing in there felt clean. The only good thing was the lady at the front desk was nice. Although I only spoke to her for 2 min. I checked in, used the restroom, and didn’t come back until check out. You have to cancel with 48hr or I would have cancelled my second night.

I got locked out of my room at 2am and there was no one at the front desk to help. no one answered the bell (I tried several times) throughout the night, I slept in my car. Worst motel experience ever. Didn’t even get to sleep in the room. Probably for the best.

The folks that manage this hotel are AWESOME!! Courteous friendly and respectful! Expedia had a glitch or something on their end and the hotel was unable to complete my transaction thru Expedia. I paid in advance and I had my receipt. Without the payment going thru on this end they gave me a room key and gave me a late check out. When I checked out the hotel was still trying to work with Expedia to get the payment ! She had a couple other check ins with the same issue. Any other hotel would have either canceled the reservation or customer would be made to wait! The rooms were cozy and very clean!! This could have been a nightmare situation because of Expedia but the awesome staff here at Autzen Inn turned it into a great time! I highly recommend and I know I will be back Thanks everyone at Autzen Inn!! We need more kind hearted souls like you in the world

I stayed here, and it was very clean, comfortable, and livable. They have smoking rooms, which for some is a plus and I felt this place was definitely worth it! Thank you very much Autzen Inn!

The rooms were clean, and tiedy. The staff was friendly, helpful and amazing. They went away and beyond to help me out. Bryan, Christina and Mike were there to ask questions if needed and to get supplies. Because I always stay multiple days. This is the 2nd time Ive stayed here and am so greatful for all of these people. I come from SE Oklahoma once to twice a year! Thank you

The owners and their dog were friendly and the check in and out process was quite simple. We would stay here again. It was very nice to have parking right in front of the hotel room, as bringing items in was much easier and less of a hassle. They provided bar soap which was nice as well. Cons: We stayed in a non-smoking room and still received sheets with cigarette burns. A few towels were also brown in some areas so we were un sure they were dirty or just stained. The bathroom sink and mirror were both dirty. The main reason for the 2 stars is that the carpet was so dirty that it turned our socks brown/black. We switched socks and within a minute they were very dirty again. It was a bit shocking and not ideal. The AC did not seem to work that well and it was quite hot during the night. Despite that, as it was the most affordable in town, we had a nice stay. Thank you.

My family and I came to this inn for the Junior Olympics. Let me tell you the managers are very nice married couple who are the most sweetest people on the planet. They basically do everything in their power to make sure you are well taken care of. Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are older and a bit small, but it worked for us. If you need a place to stay come her and the prices are very affordable.
