The swim beach is a tiny little strip with 500 screaming children and their pee crammed in there. If you go to the lap swim area, they blow a whistle and scream at you if you stop moving. They stopped selling food and it’s hard to find parking

We attended a Family Function. I just want to clear up that they charge by car. Not person. $15 on weekends. $10 weekdays. Senior & Handicapped prices as well. Its a great place. Staff very friendly. Bern here a few times.

How have I lived in Colorado for 5 years and not known we have a beach! A nice one. We came by to check this place out. So happy we did. They let us turn our day pass into an annual pass. You can also add a 2nd vehicle for an additional $30. We might do that too. Swimming area, fishing areas, boats, kayaks, paddle boards. So much to do. There is even an indoor nature center where they do things with the kids. A great place to cool down too. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards. You can also rent cover led ares for your own use. We arw absolutely excited to make use of this year round park. They also have locker rooms and bathrooms.

Purchased the season pass a few weeks ago and have been twice now, each time has been super easy to get in and you can buy the pass at the front entrance. We walked the trails around the reservoir the first time with our dog and the second time we went paddle boarding. We got there very early but it seemed like the crowd starting showing up around 9am.

Excellent place to spend a day with friends and family! Clean restrooms and facilities.

Great trails for running/biking all the way around the resvoir with a nice beach to play, and lots of fishing spots available as well. They do a good job keeping the place nice and clean.

An incredible reservoir/beach/park that has everything you need for a great weekend beach visit (for Colorado). A purchased day pass or season pass is required to get in, but the season pass is very well priced for a whole year of access to this body of water! Went last week with our dog to learn the area and it was a great time not even getting in the water at all. This weekend we went out early to go paddle boarding/kayaking and the experience was next to none. Beautiful calm blue water and great views of Colorado that stretches for miles completes the experience of a great boating session! I anticipate many more visits here as this small little area packs a lot of fun!

This is a great place to come with friends and family to cool off and relax on a hot day. . Only complaints are that it's usually very busy and the restrictions on where you can or can't swim seem a bit much sometimes. They're usually limited to fairly small areas for the amount of people. Either way this is a solid option for a day on the "beach" as far as Colorado goes. Worth checking it out if you're in the area or live nearby.
