Very interesting historical overview of the Aurora Fire Dept and surrounding area. A good mix of written, audio, and hands-on artifacts. Very important piece of Aurora's rich history that should not be overlooked. Well done!

I recently hosted my daughter's birthday party here. I did the private rental. From start to finish, the experience was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a smoother process, better hosts, or a nicer venue for my fire truck enthusiast. Brian communicated with me from start to end and Molly was a great host. Everything was set up just like requested. The museum was nice to host adults and children. They all enjoyed themselves. It is nicely maintained with informative displays downstairs and my children absolutely loved the Children's Discovery Room! Go! Support! Donate! Book! You won't be disappointed.

Loved this museum! Great displays as well as short, informative videos about fire fighting history. Fun children's area upstairs. From the sound of it, the kids were very engaged and having a good time there!

Intimate venue. Very informative. The last time I was here the staff person was so nice and enthusiastic. This time the staff was pretty unfriendly and was more interested in playing on their phone than showing any interest in the museum.

So much awesome history. Definitely geared for a little bit older children and adults, but there’s a playroom upstairs for the littlest guests that we hung out in for quite a while.

I've wanted to visit here for years! While some of the videos are glitchy and don't work, the intimate space and interactive parts for little ones makes this a fun, quick outing for a family. The staff were delightful to talk too as well! I would like to suggest though, that the city highlight fire fighter contributions, both historical and current, of people of color, there's definitely an erasure of black and brown faces in the museum exhibits and this perpetuates anti blackness in our school children and all children who visit. Africans we're brought here in 1619 and indigenous folks were here already, living in society, but the exhibits starting in the late 17 and 18 hundreds are completely devoid of any presence of anyone of color, which isn't accurate history. Let's go further then what revised history offers us and dig to find diverse humanity and share it!

My husband and I recently hosted our twin boys 3 year old birthday party at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum and everyone had a blast! The venue is huge, easy to walk around, super informational, and the kids discovery room is AMAZING! It is hard to find a place where both kids and adults can have a good time and we definitely think the fire museum does both. The Executive Director Brian and Museum Coordinator Molly were extremely easy to work with and helped us set up the best birthday ever! We love this place and will definitely be back again visiting with friends and family! Thank you again Aurora Regional Fire Museum!

I first experienced this museum on a First Friday event in Downtown Aurora. The staff was welcoming and offered to answer any questions we may have had during the tour. I really enjoyed looking at everything and there was a lot of interesting history to learn about.
