I have been going to this gem of a restaurant for years. All the food is cooked to order, and all homemade. Everything on the menu is amazing, but my most favorite is the veggie platter. I always get mashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens, black-eyed peas, fried okra, and hot water cornbread. Unsweetened tea to drink. And Aunt Bea is the absolute sweetest and takes pride in her cooking and knowing what her regulars like and actually remember for years when you walk in the door what you're going to order. Best place to go for an amazing home cooked meal. And don't forget her homemade dessert! You won't be disappointed.
This Cafe was AMAZING! I am from the south and grew up on southern cuisine! Aunt Bea outdoes herself! Yeah felt like I was back home! We will be returning and let me tell you what…. That sweet tea🤤 this southern gal loved the collards and enjoyed washing them down with some real sweet tea! Everything was authentic and so delicious! Felt like I was back in my grandmama’s kitchen! A must go to for soul food! Cause this hit my soul! Amen! And Amen!
We had ordered her biscuits and gravy made from scratch with fried potatoes and eggs! IT WAS DELICIOUS! Definitely will be a returning customer!
First things first, as soon as I walked through the front door Bea looked at me and looked away without speaking. When she realized I may have been there to actually get food she finally decided to ask if I needed to see a menu. I immediately noticed her tone of voice with her assistant was less than kind. I actually ONLY stuck around to see if her interactions with this young lady improved. Sadly they did not. Once she realized that I was observing everything transpiring, Bea tried to speak in a lower, more stern tone to this young lady. However, knowing Bea since I was a child, I was keenly aware that she was still being snippy and rude to the young lady named Michelle-- whom has obvious special needs. It was difficult listening to her ordering Michelle around and Michelle responding so respectfully; calling Bea ma'am. They disappeared in the back room for quite awhile so I can only presume Michelle was being reprimanded for something slight. TBH, I would not allow Bea to prepare me a grain of rice. Food handling, storage and safety are questionable at best. She needs to invest in some paid staff as well as cleaning products. Most importantly, she needs to invest in an attitude adjustment because the way I witnessed her speak to and interact with her 'help' was so disgusting I left without food.
The food was great and getting to talk to Aunt Bea was amazing. She truly loves making people happy with food. If you're looking to get away from the day to day drive thru this is a hidden Quad City gem for sure.
Aunt Bee made it feel like home. It was great food, good conversation. Had a wonderful full experience. Thank you Aunt Bee 😁
Super good home cooked food. Would definitely recommend!
Oh My God! The food is OUTSTANDING!!! If I could rate 2000 stars, I would. My best friend was moving from California to NY with her three kids (i was helping) and while driving I was looking up places near where we were staying to eat. I saw Aunt Bea’s cafe and thought how cute! My moms name was Bea and I lost her some time ago so we felt we HAD to come here for dinner. Well Aunt Bea did NOT disappoint. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious. A fantastic home cooked meal is just what we needed, and she was super sweet. We left with full bellies, more than satisfied tastebuds and warm hearts.

I love going to this brewery. Great beers, great bartenders and great music. Iâve only been here a few times, but I think the usual playlist is metal/hard rock, which I love and rarely hear at a brewery. The beers taste fantastic and could be the b
I trail run here regularly, and itâs never repetitive or boring with the seasons changing. Itâs one of the most beautiful places to visit in the autumn or winter because of the fall foliage and snow cover. For trail running, itâs the perfect
