Pleasant with first rate views of ships passing through the locks. They pass amazingly close by and make their turn down the Staint Mary's River. Spectacular to watch. The campground is often full so book ahead. It has decent amenities while close to downtown and the locks. We have been here several times and always been happy to stay here.

Fabulous riverside campground looking across to the Canadian Sault Ste Marie. A great vantage point to watch the big Great Lakes freighters cruise by. Easy access to the city and only a five minute walk to the dock for the Original Soo Locks Boat Tour. We had bikes with us and it was only a 10 minute cycle to downtown. Sites are all open but quite spacious. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained.||My only gripe was booking a site online some months ago. For some inexplicable reason, the dates I selected on the booking calendar were not the dates that came up on the booking confirmation. I was booking from New Zealand, so ended up needing to email the city Recreation Director to get the issue sorted out. It was fix3 though and, on arrival, everything went smoothly.||The campground had a really friendly vibe to it. A very nice environment.

First time at an RV park. Seems typical. Back-in only sites that are pretty close together. 3pm check-in and 12:00pm checkout. Large ships coming through 24/7, so you will absolutely hear freighter/ferry horns at all hours. Folks are really into the boats here, so they tend to gather along the shoreline as they come through.

I love this place. The grounds were clean and our spot was spacious. The caretakers were super friendly and pleasant, and very easy to work with. The view was wonderful and we heard barges honking their horns at night. They have a dumping station, close to a dock to launch boats. The bathroom and showers had a code locking system, and were very clean and roomy. Was busy but very quiet. I have never seen a dog without being on a leash. Mostly travel trailers.or RVs but I did see a few tents.

Aune Osborn is one of my favorite campgrounds in the country. Very clean and well maintained, perfect location and great staff. I even love the showers. The gorgeous view of the St Mary River and the ships headed to and from the locks is icing on the cake.

We have a pickup truck camper. After we were all set up management came and told us that we had to turn around and back in. Our only view is out our back. So instead of watching freighters go up and down the River, our view is the back of somebody's camper. Campground has no reason for back in only, but it's required.

My favorite place to camp. Convenient location to attractions and restaurants. Great views of the river and the passing ships. Clean showers and restrooms.

Only stay here if you are literally prepared to bake to death. There are NO TREES ANYWHERE. Everyone goes inside from 12-6 pm because it is absolutely unbearable to be outdoors. The freighters are cool, but that’s the only thing cool about this campground.

Great spot to come and see boats and freighters passing through. Kids thought it was very cool. You have to go up stairs to view from second level but they have a ramp to the first level for viewing if you have a stroller, wheel chair, etc.

West Pier hits it out of the pan every time we visit. Delicious cheese and grease oozing burgers made fresh and served hot. Burgers made-to-order in basically whatever combination you can think of. The crinkle cut fries are served in a huge belly-bus

Great food, service, and atmosphere. They had gluten-free buns, and my country club sandwich was pulled high with thick cut tomatoes. My friends had the nachos and a flatbread, and they said it was phenomenal.
