Beautiful facility, personable and professional staff, wonderful nature trails, fun troll sculptures made of wood, all sorts of opportunities for learning and with 200 acres, I can get some major steps in! Just joined as a member…$80 is much more affordable than our local zoo (around $194.99 for a membership) which we chose not to renew. I feel very upbeat about this membership - I think it’s a very reasonable amount for the number of times we’ll get there (over an hour from our home) and an organization I feel enthusiastic about supporting. Thank you for what you are doing for the community - Fabulous job!!

We went to view the troll exhibits and fairy houses. The property has the farm at one end and the education center at the other, with many walking paths in between. The cost was $12 for adults, $8 for kids 4-12, and under 4 free. Military families are free through September. The fairy house path is accessible, and 3 of the 4 trolls have paths that are bumpy with a stroller, but possible. We chose to visit the education center to see the baby troll (with wings) and the troll nest. These paths were not well marked, but there were enough other visitors to point us along the way. One can walk the entire troll path, but it's about 3 miles total. So we had a picnic on the education center porch and then drove to the farm to visit the mother and father trolls. These two were much easier to find, though the father troll*is* a hike, and not one that is stroller-friendly. Afterward, we enjoyed ice cream on the porch and the kids explored the farm. We'll be back.

Fun experience searching for faerie houses made by animals seen on property. Wood trolls were fun to find, lots of walking over moderate trails. Plan to spend a couple of hours if you go. Didn't get to enjoy the farm animals; ran out of time.

I give them 3 stars only because the GPS registered for the event is not accurate but when we finally saw signs we were heading the right location, there is plenty of parking space and peoples really friendly here. They do charge $10 dollars admission but it's worth to see the handmade creations to decorate your home from the outside to your kitchen. A great event to bring little ones and pet animals. Please just update your GPS for the even "Dayton Locals" is bringing people to the wrong location even just blocks away from the actual farm

Super cool farm petting zoo and learning center all in one. They have sheep, goats, horses, cattle, chickens, and ducks. There is plenty of interaction of the kids and the animals. There is plenty of just fun areas too, such as a miny playground. A huge sand pit. My daughter loved the seesaw. There was places to learn about plants such as a vegetable garden and herb garden as well. Which was really nice. There was a pond and hiking trail to top it all off which was a nice cap of a wonderful trip.

This was a fun little morning family trip. Take the hike and find the trolls, it’s totally worth it. It’s a beautiful farm and the animals were so sweet.
