This place was great. Perfect place for hiking, biking & dog friendly.Loved the views & streams.
Enjoyed hiking here. Well maintained gentle uphill trails, easy hike and great view of Pleasanton, Dublin area. This train connects to EBRPD trail. You do need to prove that you are a Pleasanton residence to get in through the gate. We have a friend lives in Pleasanton and that got us all in.
This is a great hiking / mountain biking place because of several reasons:
- not too steep up, not flat either - so, doable for most people
- most of the trail is not fully exposed to sun - so, we can hike during sunny times as well
- great views of the tri-valley and mountain ranges
- has a restroom with regular water closet
- has picnic tables
- has beautiful meadows on the top of the hill - a great place to sit and relax, especially during early spring when the grass is green
- bike-friendly
Other points:
- the access is through a gated community - visitors need to show their ID to gain access
- the parking lot is not very big and it may fill up during peak hours
Beautiful place to hike. I always feel safe here and enjoy knowing that my car is behind a private community gate.
It was a nice trail to walk in the morning hours
Its a gem in the heart of Pleasanton....loved the hike. Its mostly shaded and moderate hike. Only for Pleasanton resident though.
This is a beautiful open space with amazing views. The trailhead is located inside a gated community (Golden Eagle Estates), but all Pleasanton residents and anyone who works in town are granted entry. If you don't live or work in Pleasanton the guard at the gate will let you in the first time and give you the information about how to get a permit. There are lots of trails on the ridge suitable for hiking, biking, and dog walking and there is no fee for admission or parking. A few mountain biking and hiking groups meet up to ride on a regular basis, and there are connecting trails to other trail systems. The park entrance gate opens at 7am during the summer and closes at 6:30pm, and during the winter it's 7am to 5:30pm, but the exit gate is open 24/7. A lot of people enjoy night rides and just so long as you arrive before the entrance closes you can stay late. It's a wonderful place for a leisurely stroll or a hardcore cycling workout, and the view can't be beat. I'd give it six stars if I could.

Beautiful park to walk around or let kids play on the toys spread out. It looked like kids were having a blast on that ages 5-12 slide.
It seemed as though there were work out stations sprinkled throughout the path around the park as well.

Cool little place to hang out after exploring downtown with friends. Itâs pretty small but the location is great to walk around, especially when it gets warm out.
Totally recommend visiting this gem in Milpitas. One of the ancient 1800s Adobe house structure still in Bay Area. This tour takes takes one through the Alviso history and ancient style house details. Quiet and serene location, must visit.

It is a must place to visit in Pleasanton CA. It offers, art classes, music concerts and more. Harrington Gallery is inside the building with fantastic art shows on display.
While browsing Main St, my son wanted to walk around and see this place. While we were still just browsing, seemed to have quite a selection of many things including cheeses and chocolates. Prices seemed to be fairly decent...might be worth checking
We came to try the kakigori and it did not disappoint!! It was sooooo good. We tried the mango with chunks of fresh mango in it and the matcha, which had mochi and red beans at the bottom - both were so delicious. We also got a taro latte and matcha
