Augsburg Haus has some of the best food around. Great quality food, fantastic service, and a wonderfully homey atmosphere! I always feel like family coming here and have never had a bad meal. If you want something great, my top 3 favorite meals are the Adolf’s special, currywurst, and their Jalapeño cheddar smoked bratwurst! Great German food, great German atmosphere, and fantastic people! If you are looking for some authentic German food at an appropriate price, you have to give this place a try!

Went to Augsburg Haus for supper with coworkers. The food was not only great but generous portions. The service was very good as well as made you feel welcome. We were a group of 8, and every need was met. I lived in Karlsruhe Germany for almost 4 years, so when I say this is good German food, you know I have a good comparison. Give them a try. You will not regret it!

It was quiet and only one couple at the time I arrived. Relaxed atmosphere. So much so that I had to find the waitress who was sitting behind the counter to take my order. The schnitzel was good, but the German potato salad tasted like it came from a can. Liked the authenticity of the restaurant.

Exceptional service. Felt like I was back in Germany. A lot of food and was good. Didn't quite take me back to Germany but very close. Hubby had chicken cordon Bleu and I had Jaeger schnitzel

I had a chance to dine at this facility and was disappointed with the food. The salad was delicious but the Jaegerschnitzel was cold and seemed to be per-prepared. There was no real authentic German flavor to it neither. I personally will not return to this restaurant. The presentation of the dish was good which is why I was shocked that it would be cold and taste old.

Delicious. As someone who lived in Germany, I'm always happy to visit Augsburg Haus and enjoy some authentic and tasty food paired with a German beer. My favorite is anything paired with their spaetzle. Give Augsburg Haus a try! Update for 2023: it had been a while since I'd eaten at Augsburg Haus and I was saddened to learn the founder passed away. I ordered all my old favorites and can report that they are still as good as they always were. His friends and family have done a great service to his memory and to Augusta by continuing to run this restaurant well.

Augsburg Haus is a small German restaurant with a large selection of German favorites. They have a good variety of salads and main courses. With German decorations and German music playing it adds to the atmosphere. The lunch meals are large enough to share. They also sell some German chocolates and other snacks.

Pretty good menu. We started with the pretzel bites, which were very good. For dinner, we had the gypsy schnitzel and the sauerbraten. Both were pretty good, maybe not as good as hoped, but generally well prepared. The German beers on tap were great - we had a liter of hefeweizen and a half liter of lager. Both were great examples of why beer purity laws were made - super consistent, great flavor, and perfect carbonation. For dessert, we had a German cheesecake. It was light, sweet (not overly so as many cakes locally are), and a great size to share. Probably the highlight of the meal, really.
