Great location near the freeway. Very comfortable accommodations. We travel quite a bit, and always stay at Marriott. The staff here is EXCELLENT- Friendly, helpful and accommodating! !All of the shared areas such as the lobby, sitting areas and hallways are very clean and well-kept.|My only critique: The kitchenette in our room could’ve been a little bit cleaner and had more utensils for eating/cooking. |We were here for a week visiting family. We will definitely be staying at this property in the future.

I would stay here again. Room was fine. Recent renovation. Clean. Things worked. Great bed. Staff was competent. Breakfast buffet typical. Lounge was very nice with grab n go breakfast items. No complaints. I'm lifetime Titanium and have stayed in countless Marriott hotels. It's an older building so it wasn't built w popsicle sticks and paper mache. Quiet and solid. Nice grounds.

Wanted to like this location but the staff are uncaring and unkind. The check in desk are rude and fake, not even good at pretending to be service oriented. Only good service was the waiter at dinner. House keeping also threw away two of my items while I was still there! Why are you touching my stuff! The coffee maker in the Mlounge needed emptying and wouldn’t work at 630am, and then later that same day when I tried to get hot water for tea from same machine, It was finally being cleaned by a lady who had walked away but came back over when she saw me, I started to walk away because I can wait until she done, no problem, but she gets an attitude and condescendingly says “well you can go to the bar and get drinks but let me help you here “ she puts my cup down and pushes the button because I guess I need help doing that. Instead of enjoying the perk of the lounge, you're just in the way I guess. Rooms are nice enough even with the random items that don’t work, but they get maintenance to fix pretty quickly. Overall the staff ruin this place.

I usually tend to stay at cheap, hole in the wall hotels because of price, but wanted to treat myself this weekend. My biggest question is why is this nice hotel charging $18 for breakfast? How is continental breakfast not part of your stay with what you’re paying? I’ve stayed at hotels that cost less than $100 a night and had free breakfast. One of the lamps didn’t work. The complimentary body wash was completely out. The bathroom sink didn’t have cold water, just hot and warm (I needed cold water to take medicine). The windows had not been cleaned and had someone’s face or hand smudges all over them. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a hotel. The location was good. Workers nice. I wouldn’t stay here again. Not impressed for the price, I’ve had better stays at places that were $80 a night.

I was at the wedding reception. They served me vegan without proteins. They didn't offer sweet treat vegan desserts but just fruits. I told them I didn't want fruits because I eat fruits twice a day daily. There were plenty and various of non-vegan desserts. I was disappointed. 😟

I am typically not one to review but my experience at the Marriott restaurant was truly special and Savannah, Desiree and Shelby have kept me coming back. Absolutely top notch service, they are all friendly, knowledgeable and as a local I am going to continue to come back primarily because of them, but the food and drinks are fantastic as well! Highly recommend going to grab lunch, dinner and a drink from them!

We love coming here. The restaurant is great, too! Big shout out to Karen who took care of our very last minute event. She nailed it! Karen and her staff are 5 star!!!

This hotel is an AMAZING place to stay and enjoy if you’re looking to visit the Detroit area. My only setback during my stay was the horrific service I experienced at the Woodward Bar located in the lobby of the hotel ( which is why I gave the Service 3 stars). A server named CRYSTAL did a disgusting job during our last night dining at the restaurant. She ignored my friends and I as if she didn’t see us siting and waiting after she gave us our drinks initially. We waited about 30min before I had to find her and tell her we were ready to order our food. Every time she came to our table I had to go look for her! When she got to our table she seemed as if she really didn’t want to take our order or be bothered with us. We were so shocked at the service because our experience the last few days prior to our last night was amazing. Every time we needed her I had to go find her and force her to come serve us. I set and watched her serve the other tables and pay close attention to them while she ignored us. Not sure if she was having a bad day or if she just didn’t want to serve us because we were black, either way the service was horrible and I would NEVER 👎🏾 eat there again if she is working that particular shift. I feel that everyone should be treat well and with the upmost respect. Again, the hotel front desk staff was amazing!
