Aubergine Kitchen AMERICAN FORK - Mediterranean restaurant in American Fork - 232 NW State St #200, USA

My cousin was in town and we decided to go out for Mediterranean. This was one of the top places in the area, so we decided to try it out. When entering, the layout is a bit confusing -- many chairs and tables, but unclear how to get to the line to order. It doesn't help that there are 3 huge menu screens with walls of text. They list all the ingredients in each item, which could be nice in some situations, but it was hard to distinguish between items and ingredients. I suggest a menu update to be a little cleaner. I forgot the names of the food items, but I got a chicken sandwich while my cousin got a tri-tip salad. They were brought out relatively fast. The guy that brought us our food was kind. Both meals were delicious. My cousin loved their salad and I loved my sandwich. Overall, a good place to eat if you're in the area and looking for Mediterranean food 🥑

Having moved to Utah 2 years ago it’s been hard to find a fast casual place that serves healthy options as a lot of places here are typical fast food and either geared towards sugar. I got the Mediterranean bowl and everything was super fresh, tasty, food presentation was nice and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be stopping by again to have another one of their bowls soon.

The Dream salad is delicious. I also got the immune boost smoothie and it always hits the spot. Aubergines finds the perfect balance between healthy and delicious. They are able to maintain nutritional integrity while delivering a mouth watering meal. I love this place and highly recommend.

Quite a bummer. Let me start out by saying it's been almost two years since I've been. I was really looking forward to it. I usually get the steak medeira bowl, but to me it seemed they changed the sauce. I love the yellow rice typically, but it seemed less flavorful. The kale seasoning was funky. The sweet potatoes were still delicious and my favorite part. I got the butterfly tea and it was really good, but wayyyyy too expensive for what you get.

We were there for breakfast hours. The egg sandwich was very delicious. The avocado toast was also good but a bit pricey. The banana bread was fine, but it was really nice to have so many gluten free options. The service was great.

I really enjoy everything I have tried here. I love the mix of different foods in the bowls. I don’t know why the sweet potato bites always provide a surprising balance to it. The food is light but filling and feels more nutritious while still very flavorful.

One of my favorite restaurants! Their food is so flavorful and fresh and leaves you feeling great after eating it. I so appreciate their mission to provide food that really fuels your body. So great for those who have stricter diets and are trying to avoid dairy or gluten or soy. It is so nice because they menu has it all there.

I've never written a negative review before but after my visit this evening I'm frustrated... Been going here regularly for 3 years. While I love the flavors and the health aspect of the food - everything else has regressed linearly, especially in the last year. Here's how: 1) Shrinkflation: bowl servings have gotten noticeably smaller. Today for example I did a build your own bowl. TWO small pieces of broccoli, TWO small cauliflower, and TWO small Brussel sprouts! Come on - do addt'l veggies really cost that much? 2) inflation: not only are bowls getting smaller and stingier with toppings but they are more expensive. The double whammy! They have also changed the layout of the restaurant so that you cannot view/communicate with the person making your meal - you just give them the order and they decide to put in as few items as they like - EVEN if it is inexpensive veggies... And to make matters worse - a less than half full dressing container! Way too dry as a result... It was the last straw for my shared almost $40 with my wife... I've literally bought hundreds of meals at this restaurant but the next time we will choose another option. Update: I've made two visits since this bad visit that were much better. Maybe a new employee that didn't know what they were doing prepared the meal which precipitated this original review. I'm going to order the same meal again in another visit and if I don't feel that they are stingy I'll remove this review.
