Atrium Inn - Motel in High Point - 425 S Main St, USA

This is an excellent older hotel with its own charm. Our room was very clean and well furnished. The owner, who told me he had owned the hotel since 1981, was very cordial. Rooms open directly outside, and we were able to park right next to the door. I requested a ground-floor room with a bath tub for my wife, and he made sure that is what we got. My wife, who prefers the major hotel chains, was a bit skeptical when I booked the Atrium Inn, but she was happy with the room, and we extended our stay an extra night. We'll stay here again the next time we are visiting High Point or Greensboro.

Atrium Inn is a quaint motel with very clean rooms decorated in a furniture motif appropriate for High Point, the Furniture Capitol of the World! Although bathroom was dated, it was spotless and adequate for a two night stay. Unlimited Bottled water available for guests in a beverage fridge near office which was great for on the go! Although located at the further end if the business strip in the town, still felt comfortable and safe to walk to restaurants at the other end. Would definitely stay again as the price was very reasonable.

The owners of this unique exquisite hotel are the sweetest people you will ever meet The rooms are a little outdated, but they were clean. The beds were comfortable. It is In walking distance of market. We will definitely stay there again.

I should have written this review about a month ago. We stayed here the first week in April. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. It's an older property but clearly the owners take pride in keeping it clean and up to date. The staff was great, complimentary bottles of water is so much appreciated.We were visiting our granddaughter at HighPoint University so the location was great, easy walking to several restaurants and easy drive to the university. Would not hesitate to stay again!

I had a very pleasant experience staying here. It’s quiet, safe, and I slept like a rock. I don’t know if this will be true outside of June, but there were flowers blooming everywhere on the property and it was gorgeous. It’s only a 3 minute drive to High Point University which was convenient. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could because it was the absolute cleanest room I have ever stayed in. I didn’t find a hair, a fuzz, a speck, nothing! If you told me the shower had been installed that morning, I’d believe you. I almost took photos of the shower because I’ve never seen one so clean, and honestly whoever did the install, I want them to come do my showers. It was impressive craftsmanship! I’m not obsessed with showers I swear, but it was truly remarkable. The decor of the room was very homey. Excellent place to stay!

Ostentatious. Gaudy. Excessive.. Flamboyant. Over the top. Let's start with how absolutely tacky the outside decor is! Yes. I gave this motel 4 out of 5 stars... The tacky is FANTASTIC! You will love it! I honestly will have no problem staying here again. The older gentleman who runs it is just that...a gentleman. Let's be clear... The rooms: It's a bedroom with a small fridge. Nothing special about it but my bed was comfortable. The heat works via remote control which is nice. The fridge kept my drinks nice and cold. The hot water was hot (this is a big deal when you've stayed at a name hotels and motels as we have!). NO SMOKING! REPEAT... NO SMOKING! If you smoke outside your room take your key and close your door completely! If they smell smoke you WILL be charge a $250 fee. Front desk will tell you that up front. This is a small family owned motel. Cost was more than I thought it should be for it's location and when I return to High Point I might stay elsewhere only because of that. On the other hand it's the closest to my family (except the motel across the street). Being family owned be prepared for the front office to be closed of you get there late. Call and ring the bell and wait. While you're waiting walk the parking lot and enjoy the gaudy decor! WI-FI IS NOT SECURE SO USE YOUR 5G or a VPN!

I was hesitant at first when my husband booked with Atrium Inn for our family. I could not have been more wrong. The beds were comfortable, the were rooms were clean, the heat worked great, and the fridge was a full-size mini fridge that could fit food and milk for our babies. I would highly recommend staying with them.

Review for 4/5/22 I really want to give this place 2.5 stars or a low C. I don’t hate it but no, I wouldn’t come back. Came here for the High Point Market and got this hotel, last minute. Close to downtown, I walked here from the convention. It’s okay-ish. I didn’t wake up with bed bites and I checked due to past reviews but I didn’t see those black spots under the bed and didn’t see not one bug. That’s why I put the date up because for me bugs, roaches or overall cleanliness was not an issue for me. Staff is good and they have free beer, soda and water for guests. No issue with the staff being rude, as some others said. All of them were nice. So why only 2 stars? The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I had trouble falling asleep because the mattress feels like cardboard. You can be good at everything but the main job of a hotel is to provide a good nights sleep and I struggled here. Ceiling fan also didn’t work and the room get very stuffy even though it was 50 degrees outside. The bathrooms…also uncomfortable. It’s not that they’re dirty but they’re small and cramped. It has a fridge but my water barely got cold. That’s my biggest gripe. But maybe I’m like princess and the pea and you’ll fall right asleep.
