I'm disappointed. For a name like Atomic Omelette, I was missing the flavor, presentation, and atmosphere to match. I do not recommend this place for a family breakfast or if you are very hungry. We stood in line for almost 30 minutes before we could order or sit down. The staff were standing around waiting for something to do and not friendly or engaging. Food was served about 30 min after we sat down, and everything was luke warm or cool. Even the potatoes were cool in the middle, like they were sitting around for too long. The crabcake portion and crawfish etouffee portion were tasty, so that is a plus. The rest of the flavor aspects were mediocre. I do not recommend the Atomic Omelette & Grill.

I have not been to this one for lunch until today , not thrilled with the smaller menu. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger special with sweet potato fries. Considering we were the only table that did not have food , it took a long time to get my burger. The meat had no seasoning at all , the lettuce was so wet I had to squeeze dry it with a napkin. I did not want American cheese, so I asked for cheddar, but it seemed like they did not try to melt it. The bacon was very good. The sweet potato fries were very good. The bun on the burger had nothing on it, and I had to ask for mayonnaise. They also have signs posted with exclamation marks , staff only for all beverages. She brought water with not much ice , so I had to ask. All servers were busy filling condiment containers, but she did not even look my way , much less check on me. The food was good, but considering if I want a burger ( which I did not), I would have gone to the new Wallbanger's nearby. I might try breakfast there , but if it has changed too , then there is no need to go back. It is a big place , clean , and has several TVs.

Food is overall really good and better enough to reroute to as a breakfast destination if considering your national chains. I ordered the tamale omelette because it was the first thing I saw on the menu and I didn't come prepared already by browsing the menu. I really like the order and pay before you sit down model of sit down restaurants like this one. After having a child I find it more convenient either if someone is watching him and I have to quickly go, or he's with me and have to quickly go. Which actually happened during this visit. Toddlers aren't the best bargainers so the only way I could manage to go to a restroom without an unwarranted screaming fit, I bribed him with looking at Halloween decorations as I hurriedly left. I digress, but the point is, I much prefer paying ahead of time. Most other places like this don't have people waiting on you, but they do here. Judging by the tip bucket up front and the fact that two people came to check on me, I'm going to make an educated guess that they use a tip pool system. Everyone was very nice. I ate enough to be uncomfortably full, and I had given my biscuit to my son so he could make a sausage biscuit on his plate. He got the pancake plate, and after his fruit and sausage biscuit that was enough for him. So we ended up going home with two definitely oversized for children, pancakes. Though it was delicious, the tamale inside my omelette wasn't thoroughly warmed inside to make it completely soft. This was a very minor thing. Though I personally prefer salsa on breakfast items, just an FYI if you like hot sauce, they only have salsa. There was one thing I didn't like here and it's something I've been noticing as a trend in Corpus establishments that I do not care for. They are closed on Wednesdays. Not sure how that came about, usually places are closed on Mondays if they feel the need to be closed on a random day. I learned the Monday thing very dramatically almost traumatically. I went here on a Monday and it was very clearly, slow. The type of work I'm in requires me to work the majority of the weekends in the year so I typically have Tuesday and Wednesdays off because most places tend to be open during the middle of the week. It's only that I happened to be working afternoon/evening shifts this week that I happened to be able to grab breakfast but that's not typical. This is a personal vendetta, I wouldn't hold it against the business...I will be back. Just not on Wednesday .

We haven’t been here in a long time. We came after the lunch rush maybe 1:30. we placed our order and got our meal in a reasonable amount of time. The food came out warm not hot and the servers were too busy visiting and filling condiment packs to give us any attention. Considering you can’t fill up your own drink at the fountain and there are no condiments or ketchup at the table you have to depend on the server for most everything and getting their attention was not easy. I doubt I’ll be back, when they were at their previous location the service and attention was much better as was the menu. They seem to have lost something in the move.

The concept is awesome!! Once we sat down we were greeted by three different wait staff to fulfill our drink order so I appreciate the attentiveness. Food came out in a reasonable time; however, it was cold!! The wait staff took care of this so graciously and the tall black server was super accommodating in making sure it came out hot and fresh!! The potatoes need some seasoning/flavor. Food was pretty good but the service is what would bring me back if we visited the area again.

I would say almost everything was average. The staff was friendly and I liked the Hawaiian French Toast and the potatoes. The pancakes didn’t cut it at all for me (dry). I also didn’t like ordering my breakfast at the counter and then finding a table (just not my preference). I can see that the restaurant is working hard and trying their best. If the prices were more reasonable I might return.

I came in while waiting on my tires. The staff was truly amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was a rainy Monday morning. I was getting some work done while eating. I was given attention and refills and all the things you want while at a restaurant. Unfortunately they only accept cash tips ( can’t add to the check) and I have no cash. This was the next best option for the staff. Management/ owner - please know your staff this morning 1/22/24 were lovely and deserve some kudos and some cash to make up for my horrific lack of cash. I feel horrible!!!!!

This restaurant is a great choice for brunch. The food was outstanding. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The portions were generous, making this truly a great value. The staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to please. I can't wait to return. I loved everything about my experience. I highly recommend this business.
