Friends recommended this place to me. I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again. It's just a hotel room but clean and comfortable. Loved having access to coffee and water all day in the lobby. Loved having access to chairs and towels so you don't have to lug them with you from home. Great beach in front of the hotel.

Very clean, comfortable and cozy! Beach chairs and beach towels available to guests free so you don't have to lug them back and forth to your car and you start with a fresh clean towel daily. The towels in the room are top notch and the room and bathroom are squeaky clean. Great breakfast in the morning and homemade cookies at night too! They really have thought of everything to make your beach stay more enjoyable.

I love the fresh white clean sheets and towels. Complimentary wine cheese & crackers daily 5pm! Hot fresh chocolate chip cookies that were the most delicious we’ve ever had! Served at 8pm until they run out. Breakfast also included 8-10 am with a great variety to choose from. The staff is very friendly and informative about how to run things and helped with any questions. Tamieka is a great asset to this company! Her customer service skills are on point. |We loved the ocean front deck across from our room. Plenty of seating. Very relaxing. We will tell our friends about this place and how wonderful the stay is. Thanks again

Another successful visit to Dewey Beach! Atlantic View is always the best place to stay and location, It has everything from free breakfast/wine and cheese/warm coockies in the evening to a pool to chairs and towels for the beach. The closeness to the beach is amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowlegable. Ms. Tracy and Ms. Tamika are lovely and always at the desk with a smile. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

This was our first visit to Dewey as a family and we loved this hotel. Right on the beach, nice tidy room, great staff. We especially loved the hot breakfasts every morning (not just cereal and muffins!) , wine and cheese at 5pm, and warm cookies at 8pm. The pool isn't huge, but was just right and never crowded. They have a sweet 4th floor deck overlooking the ocean which was perfect for stargazing with our kids in the evening. This is a great family friendly hotel with good vibes and within easy walking distance of great food and mini golf. The hotel itself is a little outdated looking, but they said they are doing a full gut remodel this winter so we are excited to go back next summer!

Beautiful hotel. Super friendly staff, free breakfast, free wine&cheese, and free cookies. Quick walk to the beach, and chairs to take. It was a good price! We loved it!

While my sister and I were at the hotel this June the hot water heater broke. The owner offered to give us a room at his other hotel and give us a discount on all three nights of our stay. We agreed even though it was a big inconvenience to move all of our stuff and the second hotel was in a much busier area which was not our preference. Later, at home we realized we were only given the discount for one night instead of three. I played phone tag with the hotel for over a week until they finally agreed to refund the rest of the money to my credit card. Then they never did it. I waited almost two weeks and then complained to my credit card company. So, don't trust what they tell you. The room we had there was tiny, there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. Our room was nothing like the picture on the web site. The ocean view deck looked like it was connected to the room but it was across the hall. The breakfast was terrible and the wine they offered was definitely from a box and not a good one.

4th year at Dewey and 3rd year at Atlantic View! As always, accommodations were clean, breakfast was good and staff were warm and friendly—especially Tamieka! Tamieka was extremely helpful and friendly. Always looked forward to saying ‘hi’ in the evening. |Great place to stay if you have younger children—right on the beach! Looking forward to coming back in the future!
