We came for a tour of the Alpaca Treehouse property and to feed the lovely alpacas and llamas. We absolutely loved Kara and hearing about her rescue efforts, as well as, all that she has built on this property! We also got to see the treehouse in the bamboo forest and absolutely added it to our “must stay here” list for next time we visit. The animals are clearly very well taken care of and loved dearly, and now they can add us to the list of people who love them too! Thank you for the lovely afternoon 🦙🩵
We just signed up for the one hour experience. This is not a petting zoo, (which I appreciate greatly). It’s a safe and perfect sanctuary for these animals and an opportunity to come learn, support, observe and feed these amazing animals. Rebecca, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I could’ve stayed all day and listened to her and watch the llamas and alpacas. They are absolutely hysterical with their big personalities and funny little quirks. 💜🦙
Llamas are beautiful. We have a special connection to llamas and alpacas from our family's farm in Bolivia. We did not stay at the treehouse but we did participate in the tour which was only ok. We got a chance to feed the the animals, walk briefly on both sides of the farm, explore the gift shop, and even look around where the treehouse was located behind bamboos. My only issues, like some have said, was that the tour guide, Rebecca, we had wasn't particularly friendly. The tour did not start right on time, but it had to end precisely on time because they had another tour to get to. The information shared about llamas and alpacas seemed to be presented quickly and rushed along. And of course the price you pay per person is very high, even the gift shop items are costly. There are other alpaca and llama places to visit, I wished we had time to explore them. For these reasons, I can't say I was 100% satisfied or would recommend.
AMAZING! We went to Llama yoga for my little sister’s 21st birthday. It was an amazing and peaceful experience. The llamas came and hung out with us the whole class. We even got to feed them carrots after the class! They are such gentle and kind animals. I recommend this class to anyone who loves yoga and animals. I loved hearing all about the mission and wonderful contributions the Alpaca treehouse makes towards the community and wildlife. The people who work here are amazing and such kind people. We will definitely be back!! The restorative yoga made my whole month. Thank you for a great experience!
I stayed at the cottage and it was truly a home away from home! I thought it would be a little less city based, but it was set up really nicely and well maintained. Llama yoga was definitely a highlight of my experience in Atlanta and Figgy was a star! She laid down with us too, but I didn’t have my phone with me to capture it.
Llama's beautiful. Kids enjoyed trail to treehouse. booking an event with children always extra time in. we booked 3pm the supervisor called day we booked said come at 11 am instead because of a wedding. Glad enough time for schedule change with the children.
Parking and location are convenient.
Llamas are friendly. Loved Figgy and Lyra.
Yoga instructor Kelly was amazing the restorative Yoga practice was perfect for a Sunday Funday.
We were able to feed all the llamas and alpacas & tour the treehouse after Yoga.
11/10 would recommend.
No words can say how happy I am I came here and stayed on site. AMAZING, truly something to experience and be around these adorable animals. Grounds are kept nicely and its truly a hidden gem in the area, great spot xo
