I hate buying new phones about as much as I hate shopping for new cars. The process always seems to be a hassle from beginning to end. Had an unfortunate event with my old phone and needed a new one pronto. Johnathan offered superb customer service! I was in and out in about 30 mins. I did a bit of research before I got to the store. Knew about what I wanted (and what I didn't). He was helpful. Explained what was offered, what upgrades might me available, and had me out the door quick. Thanks for a great experience.
So the experiences we have had has been 50/50. We have just switched to AT&T 3 weeks ago and have had to visit the Chambersburg store 3 times to get clarification on a few things. So far the female associates have proven to have phenomenal customer service, helpful, and listen fully. So far we have also had to also deal with three male associates, all of switch were not really willing to listen, were cutting us off before we could finish our sentences, and just didn't seem like they wanted to be inconvenienced by anything more than their basic responsibilities. Their customer service skills are just not very welcoming to their new customers. They even went as far as to tell us to drive to another store location and ask them instead. Not a great start to the AT&T journey.
My old phone was running out of storage, and it needed to be replaced. After a short wait, Trevor helped me pick a new phone, case and car charger. He transferred all the information from the old phone to the new phone. He patiently explained the features on the new phone. Trevor was very efficient, knowledgeable and patient. Great service.
Shout out to Trevor for coming to the rescue with my husband's phone activation. After 2 days of bad experiences on the phone and a very poor first customer experience with AT&T, Trevor made up for it by helping us quickly resolve the issue. Thank you!!!
Advice for AT&T...please train your call center customer service support team members to be more like Trevor at the Norland Ave store in Chambersburg!!
Johnny helped me out and was professional and quick and provided me with good information regarding other useful products.
Everything seems great at first…but give it a few days and the cracks begin to show. They’re overly friendly and lay on the customer service smooth talk, all in order to sign you up for things you didn’t want or don’t need, and they tell you it saves money (it doesn’t). If you sign up for unlimited data, be sure you triple check it’s the correct plan, because ours was not despite being told multiple times it was. Shop here if you want overage charges, anxiety, and time you’ll never get back.
Johnathan N helped me port from at&t. He was very professional and helped quickly and got me in and out in no time.
This is a review from someone who has had AT&T a total of 6 years and this store completely ruined my view of the company as a whole. So much so that 6 days after my most recent visit I canceled and opened an account with Verizon. Tim was who helped us and if you’re into snake oil, he’s your guy! He will fast talk you into a business account under the guise of savings (don’t worry if you don’t have a business, he will tell you it doesn’t matter!). The majority of your questions he will tell you it’s nothing for you to worry about. Then when you receive your first bill and it’s astronomically higher than what you were told (and by the way he can’t tell you for sure what it will be) he will say that bill doesn’t matter either. Oh, and somehow one of our lines was switched to only having 1GB of data so it was guaranteed to accrue data overages. The store manager couldn’t tell us what our bill should be either. After paying off my phone AT&T couldn’t unlock my phone for ~5 business days because we were pushed into changing to a business account and it said my line wasn’t 60 days old. And if you ask customer service they can’t tell you why they can’t unlock it (secret is they just want another week to bill you). So if you’re into associates lying to you about rates to get you to commit to a contract so they get commission, and their phones blaring Cardi B while you’re trying to understand what you’re purchasing, and no one being able to give you a definitive answer on anything, AT&T, this store, and especially Tim are for you!
