This place knocked it out of the park for brunch! Our waitress was awesome and very helpful. There was not a long wait for the food, with a party of 6 we had food in about 10-15min tops. Their French toast was the best I have ever had period! All of the other dishes were great too. If I could ding anything I will everything was about $5 cheaper, but other than that it was a great experience and I will for sure be back!

Phenomenal. Attentive. Caring. Joyous. Warm. Just passing through Duluth and had a friend recommend this place. If you’re looking for a meaningful and mindful cafe, I could not recommend this place enough. The staff is so nice and welcoming, and there is so much care put into literally every aspect! My partner and I enjoyed our food and almost wept over how amazing it was! Will definitely be making this place a tradition.

Good gluten free options. Service on the slow side but ok. Staff nice. GF marked on menu. Food good, though they were out of what I ordered first so had to choose something else or wait an hour to get what I wanted. Even had dessert choices that were GF. Would go back, however pretty pricey.

My party ordered the lamb and vegetable soup (the soup du jour), the croque monsieur with yam w fried chicken sandwich with truffle fries, and the kimchi fried rice Buddha bowl with fried tofu. We appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the book case in the back of the restaurant. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations for beverages and food. The lamb and vegetable soup had ground lamb and assorted vegetables in a tomato-y broth. It was good however a bit bland. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was good. I especially enjoyed the homemade pickles and slaw. The chicken itself was a bit dry and burnt in some places. The dish overall was quite salty but the kimchi helps cut through it slightly. The truffle fries were slightly underwhelming and could have used a bit more truffle flavor. The croque monsieur was great, slightly salty as most are, but still very delicious. The yam fries were also great. The kimchi fried rice bowl was also greatly enjoyed. The fried tofu was nicely crispy and we really enjoyed the gomasio. One member of our party also ordered a hot buttered rum. They noted the whipped cream was of low quality and it had a strangely floral taste. It still does have a nice spice-y taste and is a comforting fall drink.

This was a decent experience but its hard to justify the prices. I know its tough to serve legitimately healthy food in bulk (mainly cuz our govt subsidizes food that makes us sick, and food producers cut every corner possible to maximize profit at the expense of the customer) and this place does do a good job on the food, but $27+ for a dish of chicken, rice, veggies, and sauce (fusion curry dish) is unsustainable for the customer. That’s a once or twice a year visit for special occasions kind of price. But, if money is not tight… COME here for sure!! Its a top tier option in Duluth. Good outdoor seating, good indoor layout, and a coffee bar/pastry counter complete the look.

Passing by Duluth, and had to look for a quick grub. Really enjoyed the fact that we were able to have our dogs by the patio. My husband enjoyed his smoked salmon breakfast. If it were only for those two things, it'd be 5 stars But I'm only giving it two because I do believe I got sick from eating the food I ordered. I got the Korean chicken sandwich with kimchi pickles (?). I remembered distinctly telling my husband that it tasted really off, and I cook Korean food. I pegged it to just an Americanized flair to Korean flavors, but removed the coleslaw and pickles because it didn't taste right. Few hours followed as we were driving to the North shore cabin and I was sick to my stomach. I didn't get to post the review til now because I had to upload the photo from my camera. I'm sure it's a fluke. Great service, great atmosphere. But if ordering, stick to what you've already had.

The food tasted very clean and healthy! The bacon was on point (we asked for it somewhere in between soft and crispy). Although it was a little pricey($17 for 2 eggs Benedict), it’s definitely worth it! We got the green tea latte with oat milk and the white chocolate mocha, it was delicious! I wanted to update my review because we went back one last time before leaving duluth and again we were not disappointed! Our waiter, James, served us our food the first time we went as well as the second time and they were super friendly and kind. We hope James is our waiter every time we go!

Dinner with my beautiful wife. First time eating here, and it was great. Seafood Paella and the fried Korean chicken sandwich with kimchi slaw were so good. Korean sandwich was a bit on the spicy side, but so crispy and had the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and tangy. They also have a really nice wine and cocktail selection. Try the Rosé from Hastings, MN.

Certainly one of my favorite restaurants in the Duluth area. Love the atmosphere, food, cocktails, and the entertaining cute little "wicky sticks" they always give kids to play with (and adults upon request). I always enjoy my experience visiting thi

Service was good. Food tasted great. I recommend the new pepper grinder pub burger. The guy behind the counter did an amazing job even. He kept his cool while dealing with some unpleasant customers. He even helped another customer choose safe options
