I was in the store last night. Found a great framed art piece. Brought it to the front because it was massive (60 inch wide I believe) and we needed to shop more. I asked for a discount because the frame was pretty banged up. The look that I got from 3/4 employees when I asked that question was just nasty. And then one of the women said “nuh uh”. And then the one friendly woman checked it out, and offered a 20% discount. I thought that was considerate so we accepted. I’m assuming she was the team lead or manager since she offered the discount. Good experience with her. Then once we are done with our other shopping, we get to the front and the cashier (one of the 3 unfriendly women) was short with me the entire transaction. It was the end of the night, I get it if it’s been a long day for anyone. Retail isn’t easy work. I can let that go. But I ask her if she honored the 20% discount and she said yes. We leave and I didn’t check the receipt until we got home. I had 2 kiddos with me but boy I wish I would have checked. It was a 15% discount. I absolutely feel that was intentional. It’s a nominal amount, but just considering the overall behavior I absolutely felt this woman was trying to create a negative experience for me. I doubt we will be back because of this experience. Really disappointing. I’ve worked in retail and I respect workers in the service industries. But to get attitude for asking for a discount on something damaged was just bizarre. Very grateful for the friendly lead/manager who helped.
It's a giant box store with thousands of overpriced decor items from China. Not much more you can say. Some stuff is ok, most is cheaply made and feels cheap.
My 1st time shopping here & I got really excited when I walked in. I knew I could find the items I was looking for, & I did. I found a really nice canvas painting that had a 50% off sticker, only to have it not honored because the mgr stated it wasn't properly tagged. She said the best she could do was 25% off because it had some scratches on it. Needless to say, I left without it. Most places will honor the price simply because it was ticketed for that price. It was a 40 minute drive for me so I doubt I'll do it again. Especially when you're not even sure what the "real" price of an item is.
One of the best home decor places you can go. Awesome prices, exceptional variety, super great service. It's like the Home Depot of decor. I go here just for ideas. 100% great.
My shopping experience at At Home is always a wonderful one i spend hours going up & down the aisle looking at the merchandise. I’m there at least 2x a month.
Large arrangement of seasonal decorations, clean and well-lit building. Kind and helpful employees. Very well stocked with fantastic prices and deals!
Ordered an item that was in stock and free pick up at the store. Got a txt msg telling me it was NOT in stock and delivery was an extra $16 and 3-5 days. Store employee stated "it is what it is, and our inventory is skewed." ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Always fun to see ALL the seasonal items when I go in there. They also have a huge selection of home items as well.
